Life is too short for me to view that almost 2 hour video you posted so I don't know the main topics it recommends. I am 76 and feel much better after any day I spend outdoors accomplishing something. I try to do my computer work on very cold, too hot or rainy days or at night before bed. The harder I work, the more tired I am but the better I feel after. Proud of myself for accomplishing what I did.
At 73 I started going to the gym every other day and working out for an hour and in one year I lost over 20 pounds of fat and gained about 4 pounds of muscle. When I was 40 I could have done that in 1 month. My memory, especially remembering names, has been going down hill for years now and nothing I have done so far has improved it but that, so far, has been a minor, though sometimes embarrassing, problem.
My knees hurt, my feet hurt, my back hurts, but they all feel a little better the next day after a hard days work. I've found that I can do more and work longer when I have good company while doing it. Being alone working is a drag but better than working with a chronic complainer or a know nothing, do nothing, azzhole who thinks he should be getting paid $20 more an hour for what you can do in 15 minutes.
The only advice I can give anyone who wants to live longer is try to eat mainly healthy foods, try to get more exercise, if you think you are eating too much, you are, and if you think you might be drinking too much, you are. If you think the couch has a bad cushion from sitting on it too much, you are. If you feel like you are getting depressed, get out more with old friends and relatives. I've had more fun drowning worms with old friends than catching a 10 pound bass by myself.
