Trying to button things up. I am taking two weeks off from work. They will call me nearly every day and I will probably end up working a few days from home. But I have to push back a bit or we will never move in.

If it was just a matter of spacing things out for the drywall, you could just rip furring strips to nail to the studs instead of putting up big sheets of OSB -- that's the typical practice when evening out wall framing prior to drywall. I don't know what insane price OSB commands nowadays (it was as much as 7-8X higher than the 2019 price at one point), but I suspect ripping furring strips from 2x lumber would have come out ahead from a price and labor standpoint.

What kind of snake was that? Saw one like it mowing today.

I reAlly am not certain. When I first saw it I thought it was a ribbon snake but the pattern on it’s back doesn’t quite fit a ribbon snake. It doesn’t shown on camera but the head had an iridescent green to it. It had round eyes and doesn’t look venomous. I know the coral snake has round eyes and will bite you graveyard dead but we don’t have those here. In Virginia there are only 3 types of venomous snake. Copperhead, Water Moccasin, and Timber Rattlesnake. There are no water moccasins in my county and that’s definitely not a copperhead and doesn’t have a rattle or or the normal pattern of a a timber rattler.

What is the big mistake?

I just skimmed through the video without sound and all I noticed was the lack of blocking on top of your walls to nail the ceiling sheetrock to.

Nailing through the PEX line, maybe?
