My newest tractor is 20 years old, and I could barely afford it when we bought it 5 years ago. I could not afford it now at today's prices. My other tractors are roughly 55 and 70 years old, and I didn't buy them. I inherited them.
I hear you my other tractor is a hand me down ford 2000 with a broken hr meter at 6999, it still starts and runs like a top but has other issues.

Mahindra warranty isn’t worth the glue they use to stick the 7 year sticker on the side of the tractor with. This is a 2019 2655 hst cab with 300 hours. Front wheel, axle and all fell out while moving sand. It’s been in the shop for 2 weeks and the Mahindra rep, who I can’t talk to, has not authorized repair yet.
These are confusing times. We had come from expectations of everyone and every company doing right thing for the customer. Well , we the customer have to manipulate the system to achieve our needs.Good all days of customer being valued are far and few between. Don’t blame Mahindra it’s same across all tractor lines(businesses). Lack of district representative or un experienced employees is the root cause. The baby boomers leaving the work place has put pressure on the younger generation. This generation is not customer focused it will take time. Right now most companies are scrutinizing all claims in this economic environment. Keep asking weekly for decision squeaky wheel gets the grease first. Best of luck.

Why Lock a thread when we may get an answer at some point?

I like the design some tractors have (mine included) that use a large nut threaded on with a keyed retaining washer that gets bent over a large 6 sided nut as a lock.
For the front shaft to dislodge itself from the housing, the shaft would actually have to break, or the threads would have to be ripped off of the nut /or shaft outer threads.

I think it is also better design than using a circlip to retain the axle shaft.

just some speculation while we wait for Hopefully a positive outcome for both owner and Mahindra.

ps after looking a bit I think this is the design
Notice Mahindra uses "10" bolts to retain the cover assembly.

If I am reading this right it relies on a single snap ring to retain the outer bearing and shaft, in the outer bolt on hub.
The ring gear apparently floats on the shaft splines.
Seal came out on/with the shaft, also in the pic it looks like the shafts (inner bearing) surface is damaged.

I agree not to lock the thread. Maybe the OP is still awaiting an answer or parts? Might be weeks or months from now but I'd still give him the chance if he ever pops back in, to give an update.

Or maybe it was a happy outcome and he didnt want to come back and eat crow??? who knows?

Same OP had issues with a Kabota in 2004, never replied back with an outcome

They haven't denied your warranty, so.....
I spun the ring and pinion in my 4025. Overloaded it. Mahindra warrantied it.

May as well lock it. Unless I am mistaken, the OP has made only one post - April 19, 2022. I think he may have left the conversation. A conversation in which he did not participate. Looks like we may never know the outcome - what Mahindra did or did not do with his warranty claim. If he has been waiting for rep. info for 9 weeks, that, indeed, would be interesting.

My 1626 is 2.5 years old. 890 hours. Never been back to dealer, wheels have never fallen off. Loaded FEL with everything from rock, dirt, logs, brush, horses, sand,zt mowers, etc.

Obviously a different design on the front axle assembly between Mitsubishi and TYM.

These posts are hilarious! OP puts out a rant...never to be heard from again. Normal forum members proceed to bash each other with over 6 pages of posts. When will we learn lol.
