Was that the “last word”?I always find it interesting and amusing that for the most part (like 99%) of comments are always something negative, never positive. I guess owners with no issues don't have to go on a forum and belly ache. To coin an old adage... 'One bad apple don't ruin the entire peck'.
A peck is a unit of measure. 1/4 of a bushel. Was that the “last word”?
I have seen that as well yet a poll showed 90% of them are happy with their machines. Maybe the poll was stolen. I am looking out the sequel, "13 Mules" to verify. On the facebook Mahindra forum there are many disgruntled owners. Way more than here.
I’m a new owner of a 5145 the first payment just cleared my bank. I broke the spider gears in the front axel at 20hrs. Stuff happens but the important part is that the dealer just said I will be there to pick it up day after tomorrow, the next week they have it apart found the problem ordered the parts and had them in 3 days and are asking me when they can deliver it. Bottom line is I’m ruff on equipment and things will break but Mahindra stood behind their product and there was never a question about was it covered or what was I doing to break it. When I asked the dealer what the chances were that Mahindra would deni the clam, his answer was “ I hate to say 0%, but 0%”.I always find it interesting and amusing that for the most part (like 99%) of comments are always something negative, never positive. Have a couple Mahindra sales brochures from about 2008 for the 30 series and also the little 25 horse model as well.I have seen that as well yet a poll showed 90% of them are happy with their machines. Maybe the poll was stolen. I am looking out the sequel, "13 Mules" to verify.
john Deere had my gator in the shop two months before corporate ok’d the warranty claim. It was a long time, I need it for fencing, but things being what they are these days, I was disappointed but not surprised. Ultimately, JD paid the bill (I was very nice and patient too…I think there’s truth in “honey catches the flies…”Well supposedly it’s been in the shop for 2 WEEKS and the Mahindra rep still has not authorized or denied the claim ! That seems like very lousy service that would definitely cause me to never even consider buying a Mahindra.
I see people selling their “Kabotas “ and ”John Deers “ all the timeSays the guy that misspells Mahindra.![]()
That’s because people go on there to complain. It’s the same everywhere with everything. You only hear the bad stuff because everyone else is happyOn the facebook Mahindra forum there are many disgruntled owners. Way more than here.
Well said, Gotta love the sarcasm! Considering the title of the thread and the OP not posting again.!!!!WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY ANY TRACTOR OF ANY MAKE! IT MIGHT BREAK AND YOU MIGHT HAVE A LOUSY DEALER OR MFG REP! So just stay there setting on your couch and life will be fine![]()
With that kind of manufacturer support, where would you buy it/parts? I'll stick with the long term'ers. Will I buy another Mahindra, absolutely. Will I recommend Mahindra, absolutely. But most of the dealers around me have dried up.
