YKMT43 tiller oil leaking between bearing and tiller shaft. With pics any ideas

If you want I can make a video of what 00 Grease is and post it on my YouTube and link it hear. I think about half the folks here seem to know what it is and others don't. It's not like wheel bearing or chassis grease. You can't put a dollop in your hand and turn it upside down and it stay. If you pour it into your hand it will just run out like really think oil. It will sling around and leave a film on what runs through it like a chain being bathed in it and it will slosh still.

If you feel that the shaft is worn, cant you get a larger diameter seal and a smaller ID on it so it will be tighter?
Put some grease on it and force it in?
The other alternative is to have the shaft welded, then turned down on a lathe... ( lotta work)

One of your photos seems to show a grease fitting on the "flange bearing", another picture shows grease leaking out the seal on the bearing. I am saying "if" you pump grease in that sealed bearing you are going to push it out. Maybe that isn't what you did?

I didn't put any grease in the sealed bearing I never do. It never made sense to me to force grease in a sealed bearing

Ok, but am I not correct in seeing grease leaking out the bearing seal in picture #1 on the second post of this thread?

I think you are correct I just came inside looking at the bearing I thought the bearings were supposed to be sealed but oil is leaking between the seals from both sides of the bearing now I am at a lose of what to do.

I'm not claiming to know the answer here, just putting something out for thought. Anytime a pillow block or flange bearing comes with a grease fitting they are normally shielded bearings and made to be greased and quite naturally grease can be expected to come out some. Having said that and having looked all your pictures over carefully it just does not seem to me that setup is made for sealing. I don't see a gasket between the flange bearing and tiller housing. The flange bearing inner race also is just a metal-to-metal seal on the tiller shaft. I suspect it slides on without much interference fit. That is not a normal sealing area. The UCFC206 bearing specked out on the parts list is definitely a sealed bearing according to SKF so I guess that proves me wrong on thinking sealed bearings do not have grease fittings. Having said all that, all I am saying is gibberish because it is not helping you at all.

Now I see what you are saying. The red lube was used to lubricated the shaft to slip into the bearing.

I figured it out. I had the chain box overfilled and it was leaking. I also used a shaft to bearing seal called FAS LOK 80 that I got at the bearing shop.
Lesson learned about overfilling chainbox for me.
