'The End of the Line'
This is a decent movie from 1987 and except for some earthy language it's OK for family watching...
It's got a great (if eclectic, see below) cast...
it's about a local crew that runs a short line railroad that gets shut down by the corporate owner...
Some of the cast are:

-Wilford Brimley
-Kevin Bacon
-Levon Helm (drummer, vocalist and mandolin player for 'The Band'...also played the old guy ballistics expert in 'The Shooter'...)
-Mary Steenburgen
-Clint Howard (brother of Ron)
-Rita Jenrette ...(Now there's a name most have probably not heard in a long time...For a reminder she was a hottie (wife of former Dem Whip John Jenrette) who posed for playboy as an "older woman"...!)

Roy, you and I have similar tastes in movies. I’ve seen enemy below 4 or 5 times and the African Queen more than that. Taking Chance only once.

Me too; but I think my all time favorite movie is "Treasure of the Sierra Madre", with Bogey, Tim Holt and Walter Houston. I also liked Picnic, The Shootist, Shane, The Quiet Man, and Sunset Boulevard, to name a few.

Somewhere I have an old DVD tape of this movie that I recorded from the TV. It's the only colorized version of this movie I have ever seen.

Oh, I forgot to mention. There's an obvious boo boo in the early part of the movie. The setting, I understand, is the 1920s; and one of the early scenes shows what appears to be a 1940 Pontiac or Oldsmobile.

Blazing Saddles (1974) is currently playing for free on the ROKU channel. Uncensored version. That is one hilarious movie and probably couldn’t be made today. But heck, it pokes fun at every current politically incorrect topic there is. o_O

You're right...even Mel Brooks admits it couldn't be made today because of all the twinkies and other persons who get offended so easily
