Kubota L3400
I'm having problems with my 3 point hitch picking up substantial weight after it was recently fully serviced, all filters changed, greased, engine oil changed, hydraulic filter changed and fluid checked. The front end loader works fine and has no problem picking up weight. I have a hay fork installed on the 3 point and recently went to move some 4x6 hay bales which I've always done with no problem. The only way the 3 point will raise with a bale on it is if raise the front end loader simultaneously while raising the 3 point.
Hydraulic fluid level is fine.

Your 3 point valve opened sufficiently?

If you mean the needle valve that adjust the drop speed for 3 point then yse.

Baffling for sure....

Because the L3400 is plumbed with PB and loader first. So if anything....raising loader should slow or even stop the 3ph from moving. As fluid going to the loader is less going to the 3ph.

Not calling you a liar, so don't take it the wrong way when I say it's something I'd have to see to believe.....

it's baffled everyone so for, I'm bringing it to a different mechanic this weekend. He seems to think it is a partially stopped valve going to the 3 point.

So when the loader is being used, hydraulic fluid is usually returned to the tank via the low pressure return hose. High pressure goes out the pressure beyond. That's why I asked about the hydraulic lines. The power beyond hose and the return to tank might be crossed up. So, the power to the 3ph is coming from the FEL "return" hose, when you operate the FEL.

Does the hydraulic system seem to be straining? or normal sounding?
