I tend to lean rep / ind and all of the bias on display has me voting straight repub, that is what should scare the the he'll out of the left leaning media and progressives, their tactics are starting to create blowback because I'm starting to sense that I'm not the only one seeing this stuff.

Unfortunately the left has Greta Thungerg syndrome. It started with cancel culture and extended to what you drive and eat. Middle America better stop being so tolerant of this attack on our nation. Stop being complacent. Get out and vote! You owe it to yourself. You owe it to your kids and your neighbors. Vote. Please.

And they still have a right to question and all the talking heads out there give a free pass to a dem that question an elections outcome yet it is sedition for a repub to do it, Biden just did it, Stacy Abrams did it and yet no uproar from the main stream media.
2 years of riots from BLM, burning cities, multiple murders and that is OK but when some people get upset about perceived voting issues and stage a protest that is a lot more mostly peacefully than anything BLM was involved in, where the only people that were killed were unarmed protesters, that gets an investigation with people held without bail for years. If anyone does not see that as an issue then I have to see them as willfully ignorant.

Many of those BLM protesters who committed crimes were indeed prosecuted in state courts. The J6 criminals are prosecuted in federal courts. Different jurisdictions. Did you expect BLM vandals and arsonists to be prosecuted in federal court for committing state level crimes? And both groups committed criminal acts and should be prosecuted. One doesn’t justify the other. That sort of argument is called deflection.

I think jyoutz was using "question" in the sense of challenging something, not as an enquiry. If you change his sentence so that it reads ".....right to CHALLENGE anything,...." then it makes sense.

Used otherwise as written, I agree with Hay Dude. Questioning somethiong isn't radical; it's required to make a republic work.

You are correct. Challenge was the more appropriate word. And everyone has the right to both question and challenge. But if the challenge isn’t backed up by factual evidence, then the challenger looks like a fool. Not that being a fool is a crime, but courts don’t have much patience for frivolous proceedings.

I just wish one of the two main parties would give me a candidate with voting for so I don't have to vote for a third.

Like when they attacked and destroyed federal buildings in Portland? Police stations? Most were NOT prosecuted, hell, IF they were even arrested lefty politicians were quick to bail them out. Strangely, about 450 American citizens are being held without bail, and some without charges. By definition BLM IS a terrorist organization.

Seems to me like breaking into a federal building to change an election while chanting about hanging the vice president because he didn't do what you wanted, isn't very peaceful. But what about those BLM guys isn't a valid argument.

And BLM was doing much worse for more than 2 years leading up to that, Burning down entire sections of cities, "Mostly Peaceful". You outraged? I think not.

Neither one should have done what they did, can't you understand that. It doesn't have to be one is ok and the other isn't.

I think that is the point. Both were politically motivated violence and federal crimes. The one that got prosecuted was the one with the lesser damage. Most of us believe both deserve punishment.

Calling the Jan. 6th thing an insurrection is laughable. It would be like calling Barney Fife an effective police officer. That doesn't make what they did a good thing. Frankly, I think the abuse of power by some in Congress prior and during the Trump administration was much closer to insurrection. It was definitely criminal abuse of power. If a Republican Congress had done the same thing to a Democrat President, the press would have been all over it. I can see it and I'm not a Trump guy.
