I haven't been deer hunting the last two years. Quite honestly I got bored with it. This year a monster buck I've been seeing since June around the property got my interest back. So far I haven't seen him and tomorrow morning is my last shot before leaving Thursday for vacation. I did see one nice 8 point this morning that I let walk. With that said I took my dslr camera with me in the blind for the 1st time. I had more fun in the stand watching deer and taking pics than I can ever remember. Here's some of my keeper shots since Saturday.

Amazing photos!
My question, is the camera the only thing you have to shoot up in the stand? Or do you have your rifle incase the big daddy walks out? Because if it were me the big boy in the third post top left would have more than a lens pointed at him.

He needs one more year. He'll be a shooters next year. This is the one I'm chasing.
