I have no opinion on that, other than I wouldn't trust the sleeves. When you've exhausted all other avenues and still have air getting into the fuel (provided that is indeed the issue) then I guess I would cut those sleeves off as well and install clamps. See what difference that makes.

Just another thought here. As I recall many of the "air in fuel" issues I ran into on the 4025 and 4035 were eventually eliminated by adding an electric supply pump between the tank and the filter base. At the time Mahindra warranty wouldn't recognize it because Mahindra technical hadn't approved it. I did it anyway and it seemed to solve the problem.

Have another question about the fuel tank removal on my 4035. The service manual it talks about removing the steering column. Any ideas?
