Good morning! 60˚F heading to the mid 70s, south wind, cloudy.

Cleared out two large downed limbs from the Herb garden and got some seat time moving the big pieces at the gardens yesterday. Chainsaw was flawless but will need a new chain, I like it when it cuts like butter, and I have sharpened this chain so many times, it needs to retire. My one row of kales is still looking good.

Went on a different neighborhood trail with Whipper checking out all the places I'll be able to use my new pole saw when it comes later this week. The places require a long walk so I'm glad weight was a priority requirement. >8lbs.

Just a few minutes ago I ordered furnace oil that should be here Tuesday, I'll let you know what I paid for it after it's delivered.

I'm waiting on the Kioti dealer to send me a couple of parts pictures so he can order the right steel lines for the hydraulics that are still leaking. Also ordered a new hydraulic oil filter.

51° when I went out this morning.

Already did first pass on taxes, waiting to see if any more forms come in.
Was up late working on quicken stuff. Want my IRA transfers to show up as income, but since it’s really a transfer, they all show up as 0 net gain. There are some tricks in quicken to sorta make it show up the way I want to. Loan accounts do the same thing, my payments to a loan doesn’t show up as an expense. So my account report doesn’t show the money I have to spend vs what I spent. It’s correct accounting wise, but not what I want to see.

State guys are watching a crew weed eat around the guard rails, so 1 dump truck is parked in my front yard, another on the side road. Don’t know why they don’t mow it in the summer when it blocks view coming out of the side road.
Set recycling out, they are supposed to swap out the can with broken wheel for new one after the pickup this week.
Trash can only half full this week, not enough junk thrown out last week.
Better get started on something.

Good Morning.
Here’s what the Tempest has to say-

Yesterday was not fast paced, but steady. Spent the morning reviewing a friend’s preparation for his upcoming private pilot practical test, found a few items that fell between the cracks, but he will be ready when he gets it scheduled.

We took a break for lunch and finished up shortly afterwards. Helped youngest son sight in a new handgun, oldest son had an issue with his heat, a geothermal heat pump. Was able to walk him through it on the phone. An easy fix. When he completed a major remodel last year they added a filter grill in the Dining room, and he never replaced the filter.
Last thing was to check out the 2005 Prius that a friend just bought with 25k on it. It has a batch of DTC’s. I have the Toyota Techstream software which points at the Hybrid battery as the main culprit, showing one cell at 0 volts. Good thing he got it for a pittance, it will likely end up being a good car at a great price, even with a new battery.

Today we just signed Zoe up for puppy kindergarten. One hour sessions start on 2/27. Not sure what I’ll get into today, Oddfellows meeting tonight.

Good morning to all! Low of 31°, already up to 44°, on the way to 48°. 50% chance of snow tonight and tomorrow..... will see. The guessers have changed their minds at least 4 times so far......

Another bad nights sleep, waking up to coughing and a headache. Feel worse this morning than yesterday. Chest now hurts from coughing. No fever or chills, so thankful for that.....

Needless to say, not doing much of anything.

RS, please send me some of your "go-juice"..... I don't know what it is, but it sure keeps you going.....

Drew, sorry to hear your neck is acting up. Are you refilling the hot tub yet?

On the shower valve might have to go that way (replacement) if I can't get the drip stopped.

Would prefer to hold on replacing it until we're ready to redo the entire bathroom. That's probably 1 to 2 years out at this point.

Roger on the Kroil penetrating oil, have been hearing folks rave about it for years. One of these days I'll pick some up.

If you were closer you could get some of my Maple butcher block countertops. I still have several left over from an auction. Used several ranging from 10 ft to 6 ft long for work benches.

If you were closer I'd have already sent you a PM ...

Would be more than happy to give them a home ...

How many do you have that you'd consider getting rid of ?
