I found a used Kuhn model EL35-130 around 4.5’ IIRC, but I’m concerned about parts quality of construction and availability. It’s only 488 pounds which seems light.

I cant seem to find anything when searching google

thanks 😊

Kuhn builds some of the best built tillers today, much better than a lot of the light duty all the way to junk I see being sold.

I don't know anything about that specific model though.

I found a used el43 several years ago. They’re expensive compared to a lot of Chinese low quality equipment, but well built in france.

I have that exact one.
Bought used about 20 years ago.
I rototill about an acre of garden spring and fall and do similar for a couple neighbors.
I'm **** about greasing things and maintaining gear oils.
After all this time there are a couple blades need replacing. It has hit a rock here and there.
The others are showing normal wear.
For what I do I'm resisting replacing the whole set as they are pretty pricey.
Other than that no problems. At least around here parts if needed are available.
Only thing is my tractors are a little wider, so if I set it up to cover one side totally I have to slightly overlap the return trip to get complete coverage.
I'd get another in a heartbeat if I needed a tiller.

If you cut hay, you'd know what KUHN was all about. They are good, right there at top notch best level.

Nearby rental place has Kuhn tillers, as they've found them really be able to take a beating.

I don't have one. We have an old LONG 8' tiller that still does good. But, I have seen KUHN tillers and they do just fine. I have rebuilt some hay mowers, complicated as Chinese arithmetic, but still good.
