Morning all, 49 going to 55 and sunny.
Up late today.
Took dog to peddlars village for her walk and later to a newish Greek restaurant in Lambertville.
a bit expensive, but right on the canal, and with something unusual for in town, a parking lot.
Enjoyed the meal and they had no problem making mine lactose/dairy free.
Guy has another location in Princeton that he has had a while, so he seems to know what he is doing.

Son spent the day and evening with his friends and band playing at a one of their houses. Some of our garbage cans went there and are now a mess, wonder if we will see them again. Most of the other stuff came back ok.

BEF - Lots of not-good activity- people driving like nutters does not help

I won't go into detail on my many year problems with ATT for Cell/land line. But leave it at never, ever going with them again. However on the business side, they have great networks and technical staff, but their off hours support can be iffy, and the company I work for has millions invested with ATT connections, but less each year. They don't seem to want to wake up.

Will see if I can get out there and use the new fusilade II spray today on the trails to stop the stiltgrass. I think BEF or Wngsprd showed me this from one of their hikes?

Maybe some pick up sticks and some rock clearing too.

Be well,

Good morning! Low of 36°, first time in a while that it didn't go below freezing! Maybe a sign of spring? High today supposed to hit 60°, but the winds are back..... 40 mph gusts possible this afternoon. No precip.

Going to check the moisture levels in the landscaping..... might have to give everything a drink again. Gets dried out fast when it's windy. Definitely water the plants in the greenhouse.

Picked up another ROKU at Wally World yesterday, for our bedroom TV.
Now that we have fabulous internet, we can stream shows, mainly PBS (commercial free). Need to get it hooked up and programmed.

More piddling around is on today's agenda..... see what trouble I can find.....

Homemade pan pizza last night was excellent as usual. The son and 3 GS were here for the treat. The GS nicknamed the pizzas "Momino's" .... after the pizza chain.... they say her's is better.
And we had blueberry / cheesecake pie for dessert...... mmmmm

Everyone have a peaceful Sunday

63°F and no rain

Actually got a little done yesterday. Maybe the most important being cleaning out back of truck.

Off to Lowe’s this morning to get a bunch of material for the cottage project and doors for my tractor shed extension.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

How do you know if you are a red neck? Bailing wire. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I still have some old straw bales stacked (poorly) in my old barn, with real bailing WIRE. How old are these (when did they stop using wire)?

60° today.
Streaming problem at church last 3 weeks was the network port on the computer. I used a USB ethernet dongle and it works great. We did get comcast out to check out their cables, turns out cable was bad also, so they installed new cable into building and new modem. So streaming works again.
Got into it with AT&T rep last week, I could barely understand their english. I had cancelled my landline long distance AT&T on the 1st of Feb, they sent me a bill thru mid Feb with a late fee. I was not happy camper and let them know, asked to speak to supervisor, who they said would call me, but didn't. No surprise. So only have local calls on landline now, enough for emergency calls.
Finally over my coughing, after 2 or 3 weeks of it.
Breakfast at the diner on the mountain was really really slow yesterday, beyond their normal slow. We are looking for new place, where we can sit and chat afterwards.

When I had to replace The Steel Pig (my ‘93 Caprice wagon) back in 2016, I had a choice of the 302 or the EcoBoost 4cyl if I wanted it off the lot.

I needed it off the lot.

I went for the V8 because it was proven and (relatively) simpler. Someone I know a couple months later got the EB4, and last year had to drop $16G because something in the turbo system failed and the whole thing needed replacement.

I miss my ’75 Chevy - I could fix most things with Vise Grips and a hammer (yes, that is an exaggeration, but you get the idea. . . ) and my ‘70 AMC HAD ENOUGH ROOM FOR TWO SUITCASES UNDER THE HOOD - I could work on it in the rain, just climb in and close the hood. . .
The Ford 5.0 l coyote V8 has been a very durable engine. But they are having some troubles now with the 2020 models and Ford is having to replace some engines, they develop a knock. My buddy who has one has done a compression check on his personal vehicle with 80,000 miles and cylinder number 8 was substantially lower than the other seven. 7 cylinders were close to 300 PSI whereas the 1 cylinder was only around 230. It is sitting right now at the dealership awaiting a new engine with 88,000 MI. He only has warranty to 90,000 mi so he has to park it until Ford can get him a new motor. Another customer had to wait 7 months to get his new motor. My buddy is prepared to wait.
Ps, I would have chosen the V8 too naturally aspirated. But in the transit case, they only offer a naturally aspirated V6 or the twin turbo model. And the torque of the EcoBoost is unbelievable.
