long day, very tired, but successful
everything fixed on the rv
lack of heat due to mouse nest in heater duct!

tpms installed, new tv installed and with a little carpentry, the toilet was installed.
Anode in hot water heater replaced; after four years the original was half eaten up.
even the gps cooperated after I realized I was turning the auto dim function the wrong way

need to order new dvd/cd player; new tv does not have RCA inputs which in today's age does not surprise me and oem
dvd player only has RCA outputs. I'll find something online tonight. The 4k OLED tv sure looked nice on the antenna.

tuckered out, going to go soak in hot tub and sure don't expect to be up late tonight.

I stopped at the local auto parts stor3 and bought a modern replacement oil cap, which will work just fine but looks nowhere near as “appropriate” as the old one did. . .

Good morning! Low was 39°, heading for 61°, no precip but high clouds. Lighter winds, only 15-20 mph.

Winds were too strong yesterday to water the landscaping..... I just didn't feel like getting whipped around.... probably get it done today.

David, nice pic of the mountain / snow. Quite the HD haul.

Rip, nice pic of the birds. Glad you got to watch the airshow!

RS, glad the dirt devil worked out good! Hopefully will make a big difference in the airborne dust levels.

not much was cheap today....but the replacement Sony dvd/cd player with HDMI was a whopping 40 bucks. Hard to believe they can build them for so little; saw some for 25 bucks.
Needless to say, none built in North America

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11C and it's presently 19.4C, clear and very windy... so much so that there's an extreme wind warning issued for the area = already gusts to 87kph. I've taken down my flagpole in anticipation. There was 5mm of rain in the gauge at 0730.

Great eagle pics Rip! Once again, this A.M., the plovers were going off like a porkchop and, sure enough, there was a Wedge-tail eagle swirling about... having difficulty in the gusting wind. You sure don't get this kind of 'entertainment' in the 'big smoke', eh?

The 'Mad Horse Agisting Woman's' horse has developed a mild nosebleed... really just a pink mucus in the left nostril. He's not 'snorting' so I/we don't think it's anything serious but it's something to keep an eye on.
