Drinking first cup of coffee. 31° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 51° with light rain.
Yesterdays visit to GM proving grounds was very interesting. I did visual testing for a new self driving cruise control on a all electric Cadillac SUV. The people that I worked with were great. Also saw some vehicles that kind of makes the mind spin. May get to do it again this summer. No pictures. When I checked in at lobby. Security covered all the cameras on my iPhone with tape.
Grocery shopping this morning. Then finish off shelves and placement of items that that used to be no top of roll top desk. Lay-Z-Boy tech will be here to repair electrics on my recliner.

Had to take a picture of the 1/3 moon yesterday morning.

I tested positive on both Abbot and IHealth home test and my wife tested negative on IHealth, she has no symptoms, so I had strong confidence in the test. The Dr. visit was a tele-visit and he prescribed Paxlovid, but after reading the side effects, arg. Felt bad this morning better this afternoon, the fever's high was only 100.4. Still can smell everything. my ribs are sore from coughing, no lung congestion. My wife had to go to two stores before she found some cough medicine. Hope to be back to normal by Monday. Hydrate hydrate hydrate. The contractors are framing the porch getting it ready to be screened in. Good day for them, 72˚ partly sunny.
Hope you get better soon. Paxlovid worked for me.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

23.9F, Heading to mid 40s. Last night was good satellite watching - went out to see ISS pass, it was higher than the app indicated, which is always nice, and about a minute before got a sighting on another fast mover in the same general direction, then a dim one preceded ISS, and then three more trailed at intervals in the same general direction!

I have been working on removing the wheels from the rototiller since last week, with daily treatments of penetrant, heat, and percussion. One good thing about this cold snap is yesterday morning I went out while it was still early and the metal was cold, and applied torch to wheels to try to get maximum expansion against the colder shaft and again applied more penetrant. Last night I went out and applied percussion again and one wheel moved about 1/32” (I could see a wee bit of offset through the pin hole) so I applied more penetrant and will work on it again this evening. But I will need to get another can of penetrant - I started with a half-can and it is now close to the bottom. . . Meanwhile, the other side is going to need a bit of dressing with the Dremel on the shaft end because it appears there might be a little bit of mushrooming now that all the grime and residue has come off - someone else couldnt get that wheel off, either. I guess someone didnt have any brass drifts. . .

Happy High Holy Day Eve! ☘️

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Good morning,
29°F now, highs in the mid to 40’s winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph and partly sunny today.

Spent yesterday doing final snow clean up, put the loader on and cleaned the snow slides from the front porch roof that lands in the driveway, that was like cement. A nice sunny day playing on the tractor. 👍

Not sure what today will bring just take it as it comes.

Enjoy your day everyone Stay safe
