partially successful
worked my way down the breakers, seemed to conk out when I flipped the "receptacle" breaker, which I believe is the outdoor one that I (may) have gotten water in.
At least 30amp main and the converter are staying on, so the batteries will be kept charged. I'll wait a couple of days and try again. GFI in bathroom stayed on.
if no go in a few days, will need smarter minds than mine.
I appreciate the feedback.
of course they put the panel down at floor level under the bed.

Good morning. Hope all y'all are safe. Had a good storm pop up (we had a storm "watch" but only got about a 30 second advance "warning") last evening. Real good/heavy rain and marble size hail. I had the Jeep in the barn.

I need to work on a better downspout gutter drain "system" than this, which I cobbled up last year. There's not enough pitch, or it might be plugged up with leaves... ? It couldn't handle the load and water was squirting out at the downspout connector, right at/into the barn door. Arrgh.

There. Cut 6 inches off downspout and added a solid downspout/outlet. This should be better. One more thing to mow around though.

67F, cloudy, and wet @ 15:30. Had a fairly weak thunderstorm roll through a little bit ago. Under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch though. Calling for a low of 47F tonight.

Woman wanted some help with gathering up and carting off the leaves and sticks She had raked up yesterday.

She wanted the Kubota's bucket, I suggested the Cub and the dump cart since it's a lot lighter on the lawn which was still pretty moist.

So we went over to the barn and I discovered that the bad wheel bearing on dump cart hadn't magically replaced itself over winter. 🤬

Tried starting the Cub up and it seemed to want to fire initially but wouldn't really catch and stay running. That was very disappointing, given that I had put E0 in it and made it a point to run it for awhile to get whatever little bit of ethanol fuel was left it purged from the system.

Not sure if it had anything to do with it, but I did notice I had left the fuel valve set to one of the tanks, rather than turning it to the middle position which should be "OFF".

Probably will need to take the battery charger over there and hook it up before I run the battery down flat.

So She ended up getting Her wish of "Kubota bucket" for the task:

After that I headed on up to the shop and loaded up the saw base and fence and brought them down to the house.

Stored fence in garage and took the base down into the basement and washed it off in the stationary tubs. Also collected up some more rattle cans of paint.

Then took it back up to the shop and did some more removal of contact cement that I found and one last final sanding.

Cleaned it all off with paint thinner and then wiped it down with some acetone to soften up the existing paint before I started shooting it.

Shot it with 4 - 6 coats of Rust-oleum Self-Etching Primer:

... and then put on around 6 coats of some (very old) Rust-oleum Gloss Black Epoxy.

Thought I had taken a picture of that but apparently I didn't.

Could not shoot the bottom so will have to flip it over and get that once it's dry.

Supposed to be fully dry after 24 hours @ 70F, was 80F in the shop when I quit last night around 02:30 ... so I'm hoping it dries a little faster and I can shoot the bottom tonight.

Once the painting of the base is complete I can start putting the saw back together.

Did some poking around while I was up there last night and found some angle that might work for fabricating a mobile base for the saw.

Probably head up there shortly and see if I can get a fire going. That will be complicated by the fact that I didn't bring any wood inside last night before I quit so I'll be working with wet firewood.

Hope everyone is having a good Hump Day ... (y)
