Good morning
It’s 59 with a high of 72 today. Foggy now, sun is supposed to make an appearance later. We only got about 1/10” of rain, but every little bit helps.
Yesterday kept me busy, in the morning, I put the grapple on the tractor and picked up a dead tree that had been blown over out of the hedge row. It was about 24” at the base. Got it cut up into manageable lengths and piled up out of the way.
By the time that was all cleaned up and the grapple put away, youngest son and DIL came by with their dog to play with Zoe and to do a little shooting.
FedEx finally brought my battery, charger and transmitter, so I was able to get the RC plane finished up. Managed to get about 6 flights in, oldest son and grandson came up and flew their plane as well before the rain chased us inside.
Not sure what today will bring, probably some RC flying. If the fog lifts

Good morning, the low temp is 54 and going to a high to 73°F. Wind E 6 mph. Sunny!

check, time to put the boat into the water.

I think I may dedicate the day to getting the z-turn running.

Have a safe day all
Yep. Another nice day today, and it won’t be long before the boat goes in the water. I’ve bit of a chore ahead of time, however, hooking those docs up. We pull them out into the bay for the winter with a rope attached, and then we pull them back in the spring and hook them up. If you look at the picture, you might see the Sea-Doo docks behind the floating wooden dock. And to hook those up we have to first hammer some posts in. Then we can hook the Sea-Doo ramps to the main dock.

All that melting that you see came just since Thursday night when I left for the city. Several days with temperatures over 80°F, which set temperature records all over the place. However, those temperatures are not going to stay. Back down to seasonal temperatures starting tomorrow. But it will still be warm enough for more ice to melt. And all of the snow is now gone from the lawns, which means I can get them cleaned up.

One lawn in particular!

Good morning, 60 going to 79 today and sunny very nice day after the recent rain

Not much planned today other than finish mowing the last area after it dries up a bit.

RNG that rocket launch you saw was for a Danish satellite called Disco 1 to be used for surveying the inland ice cap on Greenland.

Will do my walk with Cody and exercises with the rubber bands. I miss my weight lifting at the Y. Stopped that because of Covid due to the risk of bringing it home to wife. Wondering about starting again if I can get my shoulder in better shape. I have been doing weight training pretty much all my life. The peek benching was 325 lbs years ago but was benching 175 to 200 before Covid

Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee was wonderful this morning. So green all over and flowers everywhere.

Buppies hope you will have a better week with your medical issues.

The Redbuds are amazing this year

Frits, you planted those redbuds for this show, and wow are they pretty.
And will be for a long time, after we aren't here any longer.
Most trees outlast us, and if on a family property, the gift that keeps on giving to family.

brother and wife coming over this afternoon so need to go clean off outdoor furniture. Should be mid 70s and nice

67F and clear @ 21:30, heading down to around 59F for the overnight low.

Reasonably productive day.

Got inside of fan shroud painted, also most of the electric motor:

Will need to flip it over tomorrow once it's dry and hit the other side.

Used some acetone to remove the gray overspray on the fan itself:

Had a visitor come by when I went outside to paint the fan shroud:

Got everything unloaded from the van except for a cast iron extension wing and another piece of sheetmetal.

That hydraulic hose was, in fact, Eaton brand:

No idea exactly how much of it there actually is - probably something less than 50' - but it seems like a pretty fair amount:

Got hole drilled for the strain relief for the cord for the RUN/STOP switch and got cord wired into the VFD.

Also power cord for the VFD and 110v outlet wired up inside, in the junction box:

Still have to run the cord for the 3 phase power from the VFD to the electric motor ... but can't really do that until I finish painting the motor and get it mounted in there so that I know the exact length that it needs to be.

Grape hyacinths - at least the ones that didn't get pruned by the deer - are blooming, along with the forsythia:

And the hosta are coming up:

Woman ran out to Maki House and picked up dinner, even after this morning's disaster with the Snasauge McMuffins at the local MickeyD's.

She be heading over here in a little bit to put the neighbor's dogs to bed.

I'm going to kick back on the couch and maybe catch some of the NBA playoffs.

Hope everyone had a good Saturday ... (y)
You are doing an excellent job on your saw and it is looking very good, I would have liked to see CGB connectors used around your flexible cords.

"Stopped that because of Covid due to the risk of bringing it home to wife"

I worry about that too. There is still a lot of virus circulating out there. They have just stopped tracking it for the most part. Dr. Klotman at the Baylor medical school is still doing weekly updates. He has waste water surveillance data that shows a lot of virus. Of course there are still a lot of deaths. If they had let it run wild they could have solved the social security problem. I'm glad they didn't think of that.

Good morning! Low was 25°, heading up to 66°. Sunny, light winds. Yesterday was definitely a wind event. Nothing too strong, like predicted, but just constant at around 35 mph. A few stronger gusts.

Buppies, praying for some healing for you. Hope new antibiotics work better.

Paul, no pics of the new plane? ....must have been too much fun!

RNG, the launch sounds like it was impressive to watch. Enjoy the time away.

Ordered more gravel, after remembering to do so a day later.... still have to wait 10 days to get on the schedule.

Spent most of the day watching an equipment auction. Prices went waaay higher than expected. Some higher than brand new. Plus the buyers premium.... don't people check? Round 2 is today, online only. There are a few things that I'll be watching. If it turns out like yesterday's ring, I won't be buying anything.....

Today's agenda is to run the drip irritation and water the plants in the greenhouse. Might get a chance to grease the tractor again. Can never have too much grease! .....

Everyone have a great day!
