trail clearing technique and tools

Here is a ridge that we plan to clear this summer for BC skiing. In the top photo, kind da looked like people had been walking it but we decided it was dear. In the bottom photo, our ski tracks can be seen.

that bridge kinda looks like it was built in a whimsical fashion - is it sagging or just built bent?

Whimsical is kinda the idea. The cedars might have been curved that way while living but I wasn't there for the construction.

These Jacob falls Monastery trails (real name? not sure) are in rough shape and I might go to work for them this summer and get them up to date.

I'm off of work today so I might get to our Stihl dealer and ask about the production of there large diameter string heads. (.180 string) Looking at this summer work, mighht have to get a tool end with a steel brush cutter as well.

Stihl has not yet updated there large string heads.

I should add more updates. I have excepted the job at Jacob falls Monastery to get there trails updated and cleared.

A fellow said we can use us compact tractor and mower this summer to work on Boundary Road trails with. I can't recall which it is but its either a 3 or 4 series Deere.

A gal said she'd help my spouse and write grants for BRT's.
