Good evening all. 50ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Moderate wind, clear sky and high temp of 74ºF. Started day working on streaming issue, finally solved problem using internal microphone with external webcam. Trip to town to get meds, lunch and a few groceries. Bike ride after getting back then nap :). Streaming event tomorrow after bike ride :).
Randy(wag) great story.
Spike glad you got some rain. I did not get any last round but have forecasted for next week. Neat sketch.
Ron glad you got your groceries. Sorry rain mess with blade sharpening. Nice feeder pic
Bill hope your work on plow gets done. nice avatar.
Drew glad you slept well. Nitrogen gas varies less with temp than air, but my guess is that you will see some rise in pressure. I had Nitrogen in truck when new, seasonal changes did drop and raise tire pressure. Hope you can stop at Paul's place and save him a trip. Thanks for the link
Buppies hope you get some rain, and good news on A1C. prayers sent.
Thomas sorry you are getting heat from Mrs. Hope you got your agenda done, and collected no dust.
Dennis hope you got some good pics and some good food.
Ken glad driveway cleaned up sorry about invasives, cedar trees very invasive, lot of work on TX to control them.
Don glad you got some rain, don't know about Bird's rain total but mine was 0. That still is a long wait for tire work. Glad no Farm work in the mud.
Frits so helper with tree shelter never rescheduled? Good to hear progress without him. Hope you get progress in fence posts. Good to hear wife and shoulder doing better. prayers sent.
Paul I have had similar trouble with connectivity. If i persists try setting switch port to fixed speed, I had to do that on longer runs. Glad you got your mowing done, and GS helped :) I think air is 80% nitrogen and 20% oxygen and some water vapor and other gases. Nice pics
RNG hope not the start of summer already. Hope inspector shows soon. nice pic
Ted hope the rain forecast pans out. Sorry about wind messing with plans, hope successful HD run.
Drew glad new tires worked, sorry about taillight lens. Sorry about no connect with Paul. Hope mowing went well.
David hope town run successful and boys did ok at vet. Hope dump run successful ad well.
RS glad dump cart bearing replaced and mowing all but done. Hope you got the angle iron from supplier.
Drew hope gluing works until you can get replacement lens.
Jay sorry about the lens, 1K for taillight is steep! nice pic of red wing black bird.
RS good to steel getting cut already.
Mark as in thunderstorms?
Dennis glad nice trip Dutch market. What is a whoopie pie? Glad you had nice conversation at BBQ place.
Dennis that is quite the barn.
Dennis sorry for your son.
Jay Neighbor's cows? like the second pic better than first.
Frits they want the .JPEG changed to .JPG, Computers have no sense of humor Super nice barn.
David sounds delicious
Thomas sorry granite post were pain in the back pockets.
Frits usually done as a file renaming function. Not familiar with file renaming on IPhone or Mac.
Randy(wag) glad dirt leveling went well. Hope horse moving went well.
Buppies sorry about BP high.
Kilroy good luck with what to get.
Ted sorry about the big city traffic. Glad you got the cheaper filters. hope you can get trees planted soon.
Frits search for file rename on Mac. I saw a search result from apple support.

Productive day. Lots of $$ spent between shopping and vet.

Pups did well at checkup, Dr said both looked excellent, weighed in at 72 & 78.5 lbs. Let them talk me into a blood work up on Kekoa as he’s getting older, which also came out great. Add in a years worth of Heartworm preventative and bill came to over $500. Hope someone loves me that much.

After lunch got a full truckload off to the dump.

Later my neighbor came up to weld my flail mower fix. I’ve likely mentioned welding is not one of my better skilsets, so didn’t take much to ask his assistance. I suspect the rods for my arc welder are likely over exposed to moisture. I do have a Lincoln 135 wire welder but I soon learned that the wire has badly corroded to the point it doesn’t feed. Probably due to not being used in more than 5 years.
Neighbor showed up with 2 welders, A Miller 175 and Forney 140. 1st choice was to use the Miller as it is 220v and thought we’d get better penetration. After getting it set up with the flux core, it didn’t work, apparently the trigger switch had gone on vacation. We changed the flux wire back to the 140. Initial attempts were promising, then I realized that the generator was in Eco mode. Once switched to full on it did great.

Kinda a bonus, work was done in my new area. Light was great and wind protection. I’d not envisioned this as a work area but am pleased to be surprised.

Having seen this MIG process I’m more anxious to get my 135 into readiness and available for quick repairs. Neighbor also thinks I can salvage my exits rods by heating. I’m also thinking vac sealing both my wire and rods between use may be a feasible approach.

Tomorrow I hope to install repaired part.

Coffee finished brewing. 43° with light rain this morning. Heading to 51° with more rain. Did not get to mower blades again. Did a lot of of planning for when better weather arrives. Did pull some Dandelions during a break in rain. More of the same today.
Will not be long and trees will be fully leafed out.

Good Morning All.

I have the KX33-4 and love it. If would do it again I would go bigger. Hydraulic repairs cost big box so I went with new
It was funny, we went to the dealer, salesman was closing a deal on a ZT so he gave us the brochures for the three models they stock and asked if he could have about 10-15 minutes while he did paperwork with customer, and the machines were ”right over there, check them out.”

so we went and walkarounded and oohed and ahhed and as I was winning in one, he came out with the keys and said “I’m almost done, here, you can try them out.” I replied “you don’t wanna do that - I have never operated an excavator before, you insurance will hate you!” He laughed and said “Thanks for cbeing honest, I wish more people were.” So I guess there are some stories…

What do you dislike most about your machine (other than wanting a bigger one)?

Good morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

DMV visit was successful. armband Employees did an outstanding job of marking Roxy from Monsters, Inc. seem downright pleasant… but I got my card and sticker and that is all that matters.

Discount bins at supermarket had Easter candy on final markdown - got several six-packs of Reese’s PB Eggs for less than 1/3 the price of a single egg in season (30-cents/pkg)—- SCORE!!!

still waiting on quote for scaffolding. I am getting 8 sets, which will give me two towers, so I can put two expanding footboards between them and go over our entryway and reach the peak of the house. Solid adjustable feet, wheel feet, stand-off supports with extra eyebolts (so I can leave them in for the next time 😁 since the house needs to be restained about every 5-7 years.
While following up with tool guy on quote, I mentioned we were going to Kubota to look at mini-ex’s. He said his Bobcat E32 was in for the 2000hr Service, and how the filters were costing him $500+ just for parts. He added he was considering upgrading and replacing so I told him to throw a number at me - I may or may not take it, and A major consideration is it IS a rental machine, so the 2000hrs may be more like 3000 . . . But depending on the number (and I might pay someone to give it a once-over) it may be a viable option. We shall see…

Harry was a handful yesterday, harrassing the chickens. He went into crate for timeout for about two hours until he calmed down, but until he goes to Boot Camp I guess he need to stay inside while chickens are out. 🫤

Up too early - thunderstorms rolled through and Senior Dog needed consoling at 4AM, then 4:30 Harry needed to go out in the downpour… then fifteen minutes later needed to go out to do the other part of the morning constitutional… and ten minutes later the rain stopped!

on the plus side, Radar is showing one more band of rain, and the original forecast of all-day rain has been changed to sunny by 10AM, which is nice for the weekend.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!
