Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #168,661
I guess I will have to call my gravel supplier tomorrow and see when he planned on delivering it. T'was supposed to be either yesterday or today.
Note to self; call my foreman, I've been forgetting the call for the past 3 days.
I called the PO this morning asking why I am getting a notice to pick up a parcel when I am on the rural route. There was nothing on the notice saying I had to sign for it. First phony excuse: new driver and he doesn't know the area. I suggested maybe he is too lazy to learn. Second phony excuse: he may be afraid to come up my virtually flat driveway. I told the postmaster that the girl that delivered here for the past 28 years didn't have a problem, but now we have a man and he has a problem? I left it 'open ended'. I will be taking pictures of the notice and when I get into town on Thursday I will also try putting my parcel in the mail box at the corner (group box) and take a picture of it. IF it fits in the letter box (2.5"x8"x15" deep) there will be hell to pay. I will take it straight to the postmaster general, by way of the postal security people. Delaying the mail is a huge thing up here as I am sure it is in the 'states.
Good night all

Rather good day of seat time. Finished up the outside area then took a break and went to PO.

Another maintenance issue with the flail, but with the lift pin. More on that later.

After lunch break got some time on the BX and mowed about 1/3 of the inside areas.

Coffee just finished brewing. 26° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 52° with mix of sun and clouds. Not sure if going shopping at Rural King and Menards with neighbor is conserving energy. But that what I did yesterday. Back to garden pond cleanup today. Flasher for lighthouse arrived yesterday. Will work on getting it installed when it warms up.

Good Morning All.

Pretty good fix, Drew
you are being way too kind....
I picked it up this morning and it was all pretty tight.
It's my Frankenstein version of Humpty Dumpty.
I'm hoping before I go anywhere I can get this replaced.
A new one is all of 65 bucks, I thought remarkably cheap for an oem Hella light assembly with four bulbs in it.

the place I ordered it from charged my credit card, then came back and said Oh we can only get it in wholesale quantities of ten, and btw it's backordered.
I got right on them about processing a credit, which they said they did. Shouldn't charge cards unless you know you have the product...

one thing this little project did is remind me I need to get some disposable gloves. That super glue got all over my fingers and very, very hard to get off.

39 degrees out now, cloudy day going up to low 60's, rain this afternoon.
going out to lunch with neighbors across the street, it's her 80th birthday or something, and I volunteered to be their driver for a birthday lunch. Going to
Pineville Tavern, not far away.

forecast still showing about two inches of rain from Friday through Monday morning.

I don't know if Florida has capital punishment, but hope this psychopath never gets out of prison.
Throws his 2 year old son out in pond to be eaten by alligators.
Turnaround might be fair play?

Good morning, 43 going to 64 today with rain in the forecast.

Gave Cody his morning walk (more accurately Cody walked me) and no sign of the fox this morning.

For a while seems we daily had to go somewhere but today we stay home except maybe a drop off at the PO.

The PT yesterday was focussed on flexibility of the leg. She said it can have an impact on tracking of the kneecap. Gave me some of the stretchy rubber bands to continue at home. Will continue with shoulder PT and now do leg stretches at home. She also went over the taping techniques for the knee so I can improve on that.

Picked up Cody from the groomer yesterday. He was very handsome and looked proud.

David, thank you for the picture. I am sure living your dream on Hawaii must be great. Always looks fantastic

Buppies, hope that your medical problems have improved.

L4N every time we get a new mail person there are problems here too that takes some "education"
