After teaching Jr/Sr High school for more years than most would want to, I noticed some things that most people wouldn't have the chance to see. The age of "Stupidity" for want of a better term, starts at different times for girls than boys. Girls tend to hit it at the end of 7th grade and raise it to a frustrating level in 8th. By 9th grade most are out of the worst of it. Boys at this point haven't a clue why the girls are acting the way they are. Then the boys enter this realm the last part of 9th grade, usually hitting their peak in 10th. The girls then usually tell them to "Grow up". Soph, as in Sophocles and More as in Moron, hence sophomore, "Wise Fool". Be glad they hit these ages in high school, because they tend to build up a bigger "Head of Steam" if they hit this turmoil later.

I just glad/fortunate that my son grew up when he did. It wasn't such a challenge back then. Our local school district is dead serious about the relationship between the teacher - student - parent. You don't agree - then find some other option for your children. This relationship worked well for us.

Maybe you should lock up your new tractor.

About 3 weeks ago, a job site I'm inspecting had a older Bobcat stolen, couple towns away. Son worked in same town that night, got home after I went to bed. Called when I found out about it and asked if he or his buddy's had anything to do with it. Like I told him, I'm 50% joking; but seriously, you didn't did you. It wasn't him luckily.

You never know when harmless pranks will escalate.

Now, don't ask too much about that county front end loader about 16 years ago... We agreed before hand, if cops show, mash the peddle and bail; they'll have to try to stop the loader before they chase us down.

Edit: county front end loader was returned, unharmed to the place it was 'barrowed' from, once the septic tank was dug...

My "acquaintances" "borrowed" a vehicle from the Underhill Vt. National Guard range one Halloween night (after normal trick or treating hours). Drove the M2 several miles, parked it in front of the Principals house with the main barrel pointed at and very close to his front door, knocked on the door and scrammed.
The "ringleader" was the son of the owner of the lumbermill. Nothing much got done.

My son works with me during the summers, so he knows if he screws with my ****, he’s going to suffer, too. Even if he didn’t, he knows what a bear I am.
Hey Dude, I've been wanting to ask for some time ..........which person are you in your avatar?

About the worst we ever did....we had an old Willy's pickup around the house. It was 4x4. Me and my younger brother would slip off in it sometimes, go fishing. Made sure we parked in exactly the same place when returned. Dad never said anything, maybe he knew. But, he never took the keys out of it.

Here lately we drug a log loader to a job 20 miles away. We have one on a trailer and one on a truck. Right when my brother moved the boom the first time, a few of dad's end wrenches fell out of the boom. I took them back directly to dad's shop.

So; about a year or 2 ago; all of us are at my moms for Thanksgiving; me and myv3 kids (wife was working); sister, her husband, and their 3 kids (their kids are almost exact age as mine, 16, 11, 9, all girls), brother and his wife and baby son, oldest sister, ect; BSing after dinner; talking about some of the stupid stuff we did as kids; and messing with my one sister with the kids (she was always the perfect kid, all A's, all county cross country, never did much of anything); joking, I said, "I heard about that car you stole in HS"; her face got white/blank; and she starting talking fast, denying anything. It was a joke; but turns out I was right... Miss perfect stole a car in HS;
