Steiner 230 oil change

Trying to change the oil on my Steiner 230 (kubota d1105) - it appears the drain plug directly over frame . Am I missing something here. Can’t be that hard is it?

yes I think you are missing something.
I may not be remembering rightly but look on the other side of the oil pan. (facing rearward I think i remeber)
You should see a small valve on the side.
Often it has a hose attached that they route pointing up.
Often this hose is missing.
Attach a hose to this valve or take existing hose if there and point downwards.
Open valve.
Bob should be your uncle.
Clean and easy.
Drain plug faces down, oil drain valve is horizontal.
