...oncoming cars that won't dim their high beams. Wish it was legal to shoot them out. And is it my imagination or are 18 wheelers all using bright lights too?

Most of the time it's not intentional, and flashing your own highs serve as a reminder. Also, ifsomebody is behind you here's a trick I've found which works well. I roll my window down, reach out and knock my mirror out of adjustment. Most of the time the person behind me will take the hint and dim his lights.

It doesn't work so well on my truck which has power mirrors, however. :D

Saw one of these the other day... And my first thought was, "Why would anyone design a tail light that sticks out like this on a vehicle meant to be driven in thickets?" At least put a guard or something in front of the light pods.. Overall it looks like an interesting design, but then you see these rear light pods.. What were they thinking? These Gladiators cost $$$$$. Bad design is a pet peeve. :)
Most Jeeps are bought by people who want a vehicle that looks like it could go offroad, but never will. Nevermind that they're collectively just about the worst on-road vehicles ever built.

... and yes, I've owned Jeeps, in multiple. They suck for on-road use, other than blasting around town with the doors and top off.

You just described the people who bought CJs, then drove like they were a Maserati until they rolled it. A relative who was a paramedic on an air ambulance says that Jeep occupants were some of his best customers, second only to motorcyclists.

Order a burger with NO pickles, and the first bite has a chunk of one those nasty, crunchy, sour things.

For those up-thread mentioning airline issues, next time y'all get ready to fly somewhere, have to check a bag, need to check a firearm/ammo, or just need some free-drink coupons (if on Delta), feel free to hit me up for some tips & tricks.

I've been in the aviation biz for the past 28 yrs, I lived onboard a cargo B747 for a few years as a LoadMaster and then transitioned into handling ground Ops for passenger and cargo airlines, so I essentially live out of a suitcase most weeks ... I have a few tricks up my sleeve (and a whole bunch of free drink coupons that I never use on DL that I can send ya for your next flt) if it helps!

Brgds,
Greg

A few years ago I hired a fellow to help me with yard work. He brought his wife and she and my wife chatted in our living room. I came in and the guy's wife said she always wanted to know exactly how her brother died. I have no idea how I put 2&2 together (and this is graphic...) but I questioned her:
"Did he have a jeep?"..."Yes"...he died with a friend? Rt.29? Friday night, midnight, 30 years ago?...she started to cry. I didn't know if I should go on...but I chose my words.
I was driving to my parent's home that night, two guys in a CJ5 passed me doing 70, wine bottles turned up, in a curve a tractor trailer crossing the road slowly & the jeep went under trailer. I pulled over...first on scene. Tractor driver got out...we walked ahead about 50 feet. Wow...use your imagination.
