Looks just like one my SIL live in, same layout. Bigger than the cabin I was planning to build on my lot.
Just bought 6 acre of land. Now what???

Almost impossible and it's prime season now and the next few months. There are tons of remedies but the best imo is the cat and snap trap. Once they're in the walls, you're screwed.

Cat won't work for us. The 86lb shepherd would annihilate the cat
wife's also highly allergic to cats. We usually use snap traps or a couple bucket traps in the storage compartments.

Everything seems to have come together all at once out there on the property. Contractor started on water and septic today.
Heard back from the power company. I'll meet the engineer out there on Thursday to discuss where they want to bring power in and placement of their pole and my temporary power pole.
Talked to an electrician as well. He's gonna call me with a price tomorrow to mount and wire everything up on the pole.
In this case, he's gonna mount everything to the pole. Then I'll swing by his shop with the trailer. Pick up the pole and install it put on the property.
E-signed all the paperwork on the camper. Everything is all set. We got an appt on Saturday to do a walk through with it powered up. Then we'll take possession of it. We might store it for a week at their lot till we're ready for it out on the property.

I've started spraying diluted fabric softener on the ground under my tractor, in the engine compartment and under the seat. Seems to keep the mice away.

Lights underneath at night may help too. I know it helped when I kept a light under the engine hood on my Sprinter rv stored outside. It stopped them from chewing the felt in my air intake compartment.
Luckily I'm able to keep mine in a garage now.

Water is in. Septic will probably be done tomorrow.
Looks like all he has left is to dig and run the line up to the leach field.

This guy will definitely get my buisiness if I ever need anything else done.
I'll definitely be spreading the word as well to anyone needing anything similar done.
He doesn't beat you up on the price, shows up when expected...... actually showed up sooner then I expected so he's sent me scrambling a couple times now
I had him do the water line. I was planning on doing it myself. But it was only a little more for him to do it. He did it better with higher quality stuff.
And does quality work.

Septic is done, water is done. Electrician installed the temporary power pole/ meter box today.
Power company will be out sometime soon to install three poles and run the line. They are taking down one large oak on the corner of the driveway. So... I'll have some homework one night dragging brush to the brush pile.
Electrician still needs to trench about 100ft to install an RV pedestal and hook up the septic pump.
Told him as long as it was done in the next two weeks, I would be happy.
