Good morning! Low of 54°, heading up to 88°. No rain forecast. Wish the heat will break.... wish it would rain....

Going to take my time and get the drip line relocated today. Need to get it done sooner than later, being today starts another round of irrigation. It's all the plants get and being so dry and hot.... don't think they can miss a drop!

RNG, you should just have to remove the axle nut, which will release the drum (also access to the bearings). Might take the opportunity to grease them while you're in there.

Buppies, my taste for music is across many genres (except rap, hip-hop, or funk). Motown is way up there.... nothing else compares!

Time to get myself in gear.....

Can I just write off yesterday, nothing went right.

took kid down to Peace Valley Park for his first fun run 5K. His friend and his friends dad also ran.
He finished and did ok. Then we all went to the record store, I picked up a Dylan CD.

Drove through Covered bridge park to get there, so I think that makes 5 of the bridges I have driven/rode across of the 12 covered bridges in the area this week.

My weight loss is not due to trying, will be getting poked and prodded and procedures.
I am overweight, so normally I would be happy.

Still no delivery date set on mini split arrival, still sitting in a warehouse and won't let me go fetch it.

RNG on the trailer brakes yes take off the castle nut and back off the shoe adjuster a bit and pull off the drum
Found it easier and cheaper to replace the backing plate with shoes and all mounted and complete

Not sure what morning temp was. Low was 49°, now 80° with nice breeze from the west. Neighbors fire pit is smoking and blowing over here. Not sure if left over from last night or started it for tonight. I’m in back yard as more breeze here.
Gave 4 forsythia a chainsaw haircut, 2 of them the most overgrown. Mush have 20-30 more rooted around them that I’ll have to use bh to remove some before and after. I have over 20 along the tree line. Most are overgrown. For now just piled the trimmings, will use grapple someday to remove.
Couple Brats and a brownie for lunch.

For some reason I’m dreading replacing brakes on my 16 ft trailer. Only 1 axle has brakes, I'd like to put brakes on both.

This is a picture of the brakes on my 10000 lbs trailer. The wires for the magnet were broken. Wanted to replace the shoes and magnet but much easier to unbolt the backing plate and replace as an assembly

nice lunch with my friend, picked up peaches from a local orchard on the way, they said the whites
were sweeter than the yellow but I got half of each, gave some to my friends, and will take rest with me on monday
as house present for picnic.

and one of each will wind up in my favorite processing plant.

Mike Z, beautiful old Model A roadster ! If you could see the serial number on the drivers side of the engine, that could possibly tell you what year it is ! Although after 96 years that could well be a different motor ! There is also another stamping on the frame but you need to take the body off !

My new neighbors on the north side of my hedgerow invited us over for a picnic ! Wonderful people and great time !!

Also my grandson playing out in Opa’s dirt pile with his trucks !

Drew, if you leave the tassel end on, microwave then just shake out. Actually I don’t even cut the stem end until after I microwave. Cob comes out nearly silk free.

Tennessee Volunteers great start.

Well the ambition bug bit trim under all the spruces trees,also front field where I thought ground was too soggy for the mower, able to mow 1/3 of field mower struggle for traction lot extra trimming needed good thing it's done before the summer heat returns.

After examination whining/howling sounds from cub cadet mower deck I notice two different blades,one blade heavy duty high lift other lighter mulching blade,replace the mulching blade to match heavy duty high lift blade everything guess I was numbing it.

Plans for the evening...couple hotdogs with fixings from the grill waiting for critters and stars.
