I believe the big HP number is only in the Raptor trim level Bronco. The one I drove was a cloth seats, 4dr soft top power windows automatic .. Fairly pedestrian setup. I drove it about 8-10 miles up the highway and back.. With maybe 4 miles of side road as well. The highway.. I think 65mph was all I wanted to do given the noise , and I think that's about where it was happy power wise. Side roads it certainly had adequate power.
Here is the whole quote. I don't see Raptor mentioned. 2024 Ford Bronco Review, Pricing, and Specs

Overview

Mud is some of nature's best medicine, and mucking through it in the Ford Bronco comes strongly recommended. The Bronco is Ford's answer to the longtime unchallenged success of the Jeep Wrangler. Like the Jeep, the Bronco comes in two- and four-door varieties, and it features both an optional manual transmission and four-wheel drive. Even the most basic Bronco has plenty of pep from a 300-hp turbocharged inline-four with a 10-speed automatic transmission or an available seven-speed manual. The wilder powertrain is a 330-hp twin-turbo V-6. The Bronco Raptor, reviewed separately, has 418 horsepower but is a different beast entirely. Inside the Bronco is a rugged control room that's easy to clean up. Easy to drive on the street in between campsites, the Bronco proves to be equal parts fun lifestyle vehicle and proper rock-crawling tool.

Looks like the Raptor has a bigger HP engine than all of them. Like i said, the one I drove was a decent side road run about.. I don't think it's particularly well suited to highways. I have no idea whether it was the 300 or 330 HP variety. Given the somewhat basic trim level it was probably 300.

Been driving personal Jeeps for nearly a million miles now without a frame related issue. If you count employer owned vehicles, then add another million miles, and most of those miles were off pavement on woods roads. Everyone is free to buy what they like, but frame failures are not something I am concerned about.
I never mentioned frames at all did I? I said running gear like differential tubes and suspension parts. We never supplied steel for the frames that I know of.

Not even getting into the design and production of the 10 speed box, suffice to say my BIL was head of the design team on that.

As a rule, if it's not a stick shift, I don't want it. Only reason I have a slush box in my F350 was SVO completely went through it, otherwise it would have been a standard with the horrible Ford hydraulic clutch debacle.

Don't much care what anyone buys today, they are ALL way overpriced and vehicles have to be one of the poorest investments there is. I will never buy ANYTHING new. Always off lease so the original purchaser takes the depreciation hit.. Not me.

So is just about every other car.

That's what my cousin who owns a fancy Subaru said. Until she tried to drive through snow that was well over a foot deep and her Subaru just sat there suspended on the snow with all 4 wheels off the ground. From the pics Arly posts I gather he gets some REAL snow where he lives; the Bronco's extra ground clearance and weight would allow it to get through much deeper snow than any AWD car.

My mistake. But overall I never had any real repairs on Jeeps except maintenance things like brakes and an occasional water pump.

You can’t beat a Subaru for driving on slick highways with a few inches of ice snd snow. But yeah, a 4x4 truck or heavy 4x4 SUV is the thing for plowing through deep snow.

Do they do leases anymore? I don’t hear about them in my area. People drive too many miles and get hit with mileage penalties, so leases aren’t popular around here. Also, most of the dealers have quit driving demos, so those are also rare nowadays.
