Ron,
am I overweight? yeah, sure am. But I don't think my rv is....;)
only one way to find out

happy days, no water in my face or on floor, but a little drip from one fitting, so not being able to find
the multiple rolls of teflon tape I thought I had, I went downtown, picked up several more and a nice hose nozzle.
Wrapped the fitting in tape, not a drop

mowed most of the lawn just to pick up leaves, should have waited, started to drizzle on me, but now it's nice and clear.
then fed the birds.

cover had blown off portable gen so I had to dry it off and while there, decided to run it.
All kinds of strange stuff blew out the bottom, including a peanut shell from the bird feeder.
Out came the makita blower and I think I got all the leaves and who knows what that blew in there.
Started right up and ran fine on propane.

will see what kind of trouble I can get into this afternoon.

Was pretty good as was the rest of the offerings. Another good time.

Not sure what I’ll get into. I’d prefer too be rained out

I can always piddle about inside

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Here is a picture of a tractor model that I worked on many years ago during my apprentice years.

This attack on ******, is a heinous thing and will have far reaching consequences. I'm not at a loss of things to say, I just can't say them here.

Angry, sad, and mad.

Good Afternoon Guys,
Sorry about the late checkin, but we had to go to our local Honda dealer for info on buying my wifes Honda CRV which we have leased for the past 3 years. The car only has 17,000 miles on it, so we are going to buy it. Lease buy out is just over 20K.

Ct, 45 to start going to 62, partly cunny/cloudy.

Frits, that is a very cool tractor pic, thanks !

Kyle, I am worried that this whole thing could really erupt problems in the middle east ! Hopefully it doesnt !

PopG, I loved that movie, I think they were down to their last cartridge for the engine start !Great movie !

David, that stir fry looks really good !!

Hope all have a blessed and safe day !

Good Morning!!!! 61F @ 10:15AM back in Yankee Hill. Considerable cloudiness. Slight chance of a rain shower. High around 70F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph.
The seat was wet on the side-by-side when I went to take the trash out this morning, but there wasn't enough rain to register in the gauge. What's on the radar is still west of the Coast Ranges, and usually falls apart before it gets here. Next chance of rain isn't until a week from Monday, but it's not looking good cloud cover wise for next Saturday's annular solar eclipse.

Maybe this article will help with deleting large numbers of photos on your iPhone, Drew. Also check your email app and delete as many emails as you can, as many will have large attachments. Been thinking about the new iPhone, mainly due to the camera improvements, but too much sticker shock right now.

Not sure I'd have the nerve to push a self parking button on one of the new cars. That's a lot of damage to risk, not to just my car, but the ones parked in front of and behind it. And even with cameras, you still can't see well enough to jump on the brakes in time if it goes berserk mid park...

Mostly smooth trip home yesterday, except for the two times a strong side gust knocked off the cruise control and the anti sway braking automatically kicked in. Always scares the 'ell out of me 'cause it feels and sounds like the engine just took a dump. Then the radio turned itself off, came back on briefly, then went off again. Had to hit the power switch to get it going again. Interwebs answer is "they all do that". Humpf.

Saturday was my chance to give back to my buddy down south for all the help in landing the new house, and subsequent help unloading the van. Installed new wiper blades on two cars, then replaced a switch for some overhead lights in the garage, but had to remove a cabinet someone had built around the water heater to get to it. Uncloggged a drain in one of the bathrooms, and finished off making some bait for a yellow jacket kill station I made from a sports drink bottle. The yellow jackets will take Fipronil laced bait back to their nest and in a week there will be no more yellow jackets in the neighborhood.

Sunday we hiked with the dog on the beach, one that had been closed during the plover (bird) nesting season. The dog even found a ball somone else had lost, one printed with teeth on one side. Looked pretty goofy when the teeth on the ball aligned right with the dog's mouth.🤣 Then went back to my place and got the lawn mowed and a few more boxes unloaded. They were full of kitchen glass ware that I'd packed by wrapping in t-shirts and other clothing. A two-birds-with-one-stone solution to a lack of packing material.

Made measurements of all the rooms at the new place, and now need to make up scale drawings to figure out where the furniture and shop tools will go. Should save a lot of time moving things around, especially important for the lathe and mill. Be a good day for it, as it's damp and coolish outside, and the ground is just wet enough to discourage outdoor projects.

Hope everyone's week got off to a great start.

I do not think your RV is over weight. Get it weighed will tell what air pressure to have tires for best handling when driving down road. Some RVS have more weight on one side.
good no leaks.

how do you set up the trap for yellow jackets?

a lot sunnier out but down to 58.
took advantage of nice weather and barbecued a couple of pork chops.
Ate the tenderest parts and will put the rest in a stir fry soon.
while waiting for dinner to cook, ambled over to blackberry bushes
and found a nice medium one. The big fat one I tugged on just wouldn't let go.
patience

I despise yellow jackets. Had them on farm growing up, had several nests on farm in NC.
Usually find out the hard way getting stung on mower.
after a sting on my hand where my arm looked like a balloon up to my elbow, got an epi pen.

I wonder how many years that epi pen is out of date. Probably at least two.

I wouldn't be so skittish around them if the family doctor who delivered me, and one of my Father's best friends
had not died from three yellow jacket stings. Epi pen and fast trip to ER didn't save him, one of leading docs in community.
That was a learning lesson about bees and anaphylactic shock.

He came to our house for almost twenty years with his wife, they all played
bridge on Sat night. Pretty boring to us kids for sure.
except when someone said the word rubber.

then my young ears perked up...

how do you set up the trap for yellow jackets?
I use a pint sports drink bottle, and cut windows about an inch from the bottom in each side, about 2" square. Then I spray paint the top of the bottle black so they won't try to get out the top and get trapped. Add about 4 drops of Fipronil (Taurus SC) to a heaping tablespoon of really stinky cat food. Put that in the bottom of the bait station and hang the station somewhere you won't have to smell it. The yellow jackets will take it back to the nest, and in a week or two you won't have any yellow jackets to bother you.
