Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

50.7F not getting much warmer, drizzle/light rain overnight, should last another hour or three, we needed it.

Remember our Veterans today.

of course, that means no work or dog walking at the woodlot today, so energy conservation/house puttering kinda day.

Show at Performing Arts Center was great! Our local Community Theater group puts on some amazing productions and approaches “Off-Broadway” quality (and as a former card-carrying IATSE professional in the NY Metro area, I can have an opinion ) — Wizard of Oz complete with flying monkeys! Ticket prices would basically cover current subway fares in NYC.

and no worries about getting pushed onto subway tracks…

Biggest thing I need to worry myself about today is what to make for dinner…

Good Morning Guys,
PC, 76 to start going to 87 ! The weather on my phone says chance of showers again, but looking off of our balcony, it looks promising!

Only about 50 or 60 pages left in the book, it was a very good read !

The other couple that we are here with have two of their friends coming in this afternoon ! He was a chief in the NYFD, so I’m sure I will have something in common with him, and also something to talk about !

Sounds like a good vacation! I usually also take a book along on the yearly cruise and feel lost when I complete it. Do you always stay at a resort or do ever go on a cruise?

@Kyle_in_Tex - I have seen the new Ducati. Nope, not interested. They are going to build a 450 too. BTW, got an inquiry this morning seeing if I would be interested in assisting a twins rider next season……

@Thomas - The doe walked right up to the window and looked in, so i think she has visited before. She has been staying close to the house and barn last few weeks. We can get fairly close to her. Not sure what is going on.

Good Morning!!!! 52F @ 6:45AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 72F. Winds light and variable.

Got the last motorcycle packed into the van yesterday, in boxes and bits. Hope I don't lose any of it in the move. Lots of Norton parts in boxes, too. Can you imagine what a horrible mess it would be to mix them all up?

Today I'll take down the shelves all those parts were resting on. And the lights that the shelves were holding up. Then put up some temporary lights so I can keep working on the van (in my spare time).

Hope everyone has a great weekend. If you do, remember, it was a veteran you have to thank for it.

Will walk the push mower thru dogs area today.

Need to fuss with Sophie’s pool a bit. Water level down below the skimmers, guessing about 5k gallons low and getting green. Need to improve the water circulation.

That will like be my big challenge for the day

Morning all, 41 going up to 50 and sunny, fall continues, fine by me for now.
Got the pressure sensor replaced in the heater and it is much happier now.

Found a lot of bagworms on the juniper by side door, so gathered them all up, as many as I could find, weren't there a few weeks ago, this warm weather is allowing them to shack up after snacking on the bushes.

Today will try to take dog out somewhere to socialize if I feel up to it.

I prefer Mex over tex-mex, can't have any dairy and tex-mex is sourcream covered cheese from my point of view.

Sorry to hear about the neighbor riptides, hope insurance covers, but loss of animals...
