New (used) IH 7500 Dump Truck purchase, modification & fix up

idk they kinda match the bumper right now

I tried spray paint on one and it looks fine. I’m going to tape them off and rattle can them. IH wants like $150 for each of the 4 pieces!

I will be replacing the big plastic splash shields behind the front tires. Both are damaged and look like crap

I did a crappy rattle can job on the fender extensions. It’ll be temporary until I can save up some play money for new ones.
I guess it don’t look 1/2 bad…..

I’m beginning to warm up to the idea of BLACK rims. White may look stupid. Too many different colors (Green cab, black bed, white wheels)

I’d hate to buy new rims, then paint black. I don’t think black rims are available as new rims from accuride, etc.

The rear rims are shot. They are pitted.

Ideas/thoughts on black rims?

Dude they look better than "not half bad". It looks $600 better (less the price of the spray paint). That is what you said new fender parts would cost.
I'm partial to the old fashioned silver, or Tennessee chrome.
