Drinking hot coffee. 34° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 38° with partly cloudy skies. Rained until late afternoon yesterday. .39" of rain. Did not sleep much last night. Got plenty of exercise doing measuring for a new hitch for Trac-Vac. It is badly worn from many year of use. Not sure I will get started making it today. Did not sleep well. Worried about a bill I got from PC DR. They seem to have charged me for care I never got. Got a feeling I will be spending way to much time on the phone today.
Always new visitor to my feeders.

Wow, really impressed with what has happened with the price of Gold in the last couple of weeks !

Saw that one of our Arleigh Burke DDGs got attacked in the Red Sea - I wonder what effect that will have on metals prices?

Friend had to take them down. His trespassing sign had the picture of a gun sight on a guy down and a backhoe ready to bury him.

Those are pretty much and invitation for trouble… they are fun in the man-cave or garage, but for general use they are a liability, especially if a self-defense action ever needed to be undertaken (prosecution will use it to show intent/predisposition).

Hod has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly)

32.0F allegedly going near 60. Right now it is about 10°colder than the weatherguessers guesstimated… HVAC kicked in aroun 3AM and has been cycling regularly since. uo a bit earlier than desired because Harry indicated that he wanted to visit a tree, and policy is to always fulfil such requests —- much easier and far less traumatic for all rather than have a “Cleanup in Aisle 3” situition.

Got some more decorations up, still plenty left to do, but dogs were quite restless and, even though we knew it would be a bit moist at the woodlot, we took them for an afternoon walk up the mountain. Very glad we did it when it was in the 60s since I sincerely doubt we will see temps like that again for several days. It won’t be long before I will change that statement to “… again for several weeks”! Binged a half dozen episodes of TOP GEAR To round out the day.

Today will likely be more decorating, and whatever else Mrs determines need be done. I would like to take a solo run up to woodlot and setup a sniper station to stuff Bambi parts in the freezer later in the week, we will see how that goes…

actually a wonderful story of the bad guys taking over a tanker they thought was attached to Israel, our fleet hears about it, bears down
on those fools in that Arleigh Burke at 30 knots, bad guys all try to escape or give up.
It must be an amazing sight to see a modern destroyer aimed right at you...

then more bad guys shot some missiles off at the destroyer, never got close

good morning all. 40 going up to 50 in clouds and maybe a peek of sun.

happy to report that I got the toilet out all by myself, very hard to get the floor bolts out, no room
drenched the whole area in sanitizer, realized I needed another part. So back to hardware store this morning and hopefully today
the toilet will be done. I'm not sure I can go with pex, oem is not pex but water tubing using pex "like" connectors. Does not work well, but pex
doesn't bend well either so I understand why it was easier to fit this all with flex pipe.
I will use pex if I can, might need to add some 90's to make it work. Have lots of good quality brass connectors, trying to get rid of the plastic.

had to chuckle, the best connection I made was the ugliest, that pex to water hose, but pex slid in tightly into other hose, I used the right all types plastic
adhesive and then put a clamp on it while glue dried. It's not going anywhere, but it does look Rube Goldberg so maybe they will get fixed today. I have a few Sharkbite fittings I could use, maybe.

Morning all!
38 going to a cloudy 46. Rained here all weekend. Would be nice to see the sun for a bit to dry things out. Looks like teens and night and just the 30's for highs after today.
Wife is due back tonight from her trip to Florida. They won't be in till midnight or so and I'm the designated driver!
MRI results posted on my health portal. Waiting on word from my doc what's next. Lot's of use of the word severe for 4 of my disc. Been living on Advil and Tylenol for almost a year it seems. Still better than an operation though! We'll see.
Got a few honey do's finished around the house. Also lots of time in the shop when my neck allowed. That's it for now! Need more coffee to function correctly!
