Good morning, the low is 34 and the high to 43°F. Wind ESE 11 mph. 60% chance of drizzle/rain.

Yesterday I went back to bed for a power nap at 9 A.M. and didn't get up until 12:30. Must have needed the sleep.

With the warm temperature today I think I will grease the tractor and see what else I can get into, outside.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning from Texas!

Ron and Buppies glad to see y'all moving about this fine morning! You too, L4N, saw you popped in while I was typing this.
It's 67f and cloudy this morning. I conked out early last night and woke up at 2am today. Got up to get the coffee ready and planned to go back to sleep but, out of habit, had turned to coffee pot ON and since it was making already I just stayed up. Got the real estate listings/closing all checked, trash taken out, cats fed and walked around outside looking around, thinking about some plans for today. Realized it was already 4am so thought to be an early bird on GM today.

Kyle, hope your back is better!

After being sore all over yesterday and no idea why, today I feel good!

Got the pin and washer for the loader yesterday and I knew it was going to be one of those easy/difficult tasks to get it back in. It was easy with 4 hands but impossible with only 2. But once the 2 extra hands arrived it popped right in. Shot a lot of spray lube on both sides and it works like new.

After getting the loader working and the forks attached there was time to take down one more tree in the area we are clearing out.

Plans for today: spend as much time as possible with my grand daughter who loves to be outside. Might take her to the farm.

Hoping everyone has a great Saturday and weekend!

good morning all
34 going up to 49 today in clouds and some mist apparently.
I'm up and moving, landlady coming for coffee early.
I got her some Swedish Kubb (almond sugar cookies).
she will likely bring me an xmas plant.

then....the main event. At 11am, a few guys including my brother are coming over to put the cover on rv.
Ken is well prepared, I have lots of rope, should only take ten minutes per the instruction video.
I'm figuring a bit longer than that.
that assumes someone wants to walk up there which we are trying to avoid with ropes and long poles.
good timing, quite the storm coming in tomorrow, two inches of rain and 50mph winds forecast.

I already told neighbor across the street that I expect them to wake up with my blow up Santa on the side of their house, blown
by the wind. of course once they unplug they quickly flop down.
i'm utterly amazed those blow up decorations are still going strong, 24/7 on their second season. Fan just runs and runs

slowly waking up. Coffee not very good. Time to try something else.
I need to treat myself to some really good (expensive) coffee for Christmas.
trying to find coffee for under ten bucks a pound that doesn't taste like ground up wood chips is hard...

this little cottage is porous as a sieve.
seems about every bug can get in.
Currently the lady bugs are showing up.
nice bugs actually.
I wondered why they came back to same place in kitchen.

Aha.....
it seems they mark their territory like so many other critters.

The ladybugs are attracted to lighter areas that have a dark feature, such as a crevice or a crack in a southeast-facing wall or window illuminated by the fall sunlight, says Dr. Brian Forschler, a professor of entomology at the University of Georgia.

The ladybugs enter your home through these cracks, and when they find a comfortable spot to hang out for the winter, they leave a chemical marker behind that serves as a calling card for the rest of their friends. That’s why homeowners will spot ladybugs gathering in the same location year after year.

We are getting too old for "Hold my beer". In my case it's more like "Hold my tea" :)
