Kids had a great time, Nana made it special for all of them !
When everyone goes, major cleanup, and then some puttering in the shop !
Drew, hope all your tests went well, I can honestly say I even hated drinking that stuff they give you for a colonoscopy! My last one was this past year, that should be it !
PopG, really liked the plane picture on the water ! Wondering if it’s more difficult to land on water as opposed to ground landing with model planes ?

I hope the lessons of the past have helped Japan because they were greeted
to the new year with a massive earthquake and alarms about 15 foot high tidal waves.
gives new meaning to having a seaside home
I bet a lot of their nuke plant operators must be gulping Tums.
It would be really nice to have someone here from the Far East.
though we are blessed with our friends from NZ and Australia.
In the "old days" guys from around the world used to chat on their short wave radios.
long before cell phones or the internet
I bet some still do.
I'm more visual, and like to write, so this works better for me.
If both Helo and I were online at the same time, and I posted a message here, I wonder how long it takes
for all that to pop up on his pc? Pretty sure it goes across the Atlantic in one of many big underwater cables.
and bounced through a lot of universities and big business servers.
I'm guessing they are fiber optic.
It all seems like magic to me.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today... town 5 gallon diesel afternoon goodies,couple wheelbarrows wood in basement,Kubota been setting month short ride keep it loose,check 1 of 3 bear dens see if in use,watch football later on.

Happy New Year! 40˚F, N wind, cloudy heading to only the mid 50s.
We did not go to any parties even though they all end at 9:30 in this retirement neighborhood. We just made Cashew milk hot chocolate and lemon cookies and wished good riddance to 2023 and hopefully 2024 will be better.
