You like ram trucks? Older Low mileage regular cab rust free dodge in Illinois supposedly but it's got a 360 gasser and 3/4 ton but its set up from dodge ready to plow.

My budget is 20 or less without plow, ~25 with plow

I did a nationwide search on Autotrader. I guess your ideal truck isn’t out there. One thing I would do is have a local auto broker do a search on their wholesale and auction sites. I bought my truck that way. My neighbor is a dealer general manager. He was able to find what I wanted in Fort Worth and had it shipped to his dealership. He said it looked like a good truck and if I didn’t want it, he would just put it on the sales lot. I ended up paying for shipping plus a small profit for the dealership. But less than retail price.
I think every plowing contractor looking bought almost every used regular cab 1 and 3/4 tons up in the fall for plowing. However if winter stays this way I assume some plowing contractors will start liquidating at losses.

That’s the funny thing. It aint snowed here in 700 days, so you’d think it would be an easy find?
Nope!
I would consider blowing up my budget (somewhat) if I were able to find exactly what I want.
Did this with my IH-7500 4x4. It was exactly what i wanted, so I took a chance and I am happy with my decision so far.
