I did a nationwide search on Autotrader. I guess your ideal truck isn’t out there. One thing I would do is have a local auto broker do a search on their wholesale and auction sites. I bought my truck that way. My neighbor is a dealer general manager. He was able to find what I wanted in Fort Worth and had it shipped to his dealership. He said it looked like a good truck and if I didn’t want it, he would just put it on the sales lot. I ended up paying for shipping plus a small profit for the dealership. But less than retail price.Well over the $20,000 I specified.

That’s the funny thing. It aint snowed here in 700 days, so you’d think it would be an easy find?I think every plowing contractor looking bought almost every used regular cab 1 and 3/4 tons up in the fall for plowing. However if winter stays this way I assume some plowing contractors will start liquidating at losses.
