It is obvious that we have a lot of opinions here. You would be wrong to think that everyone thinks the same as you. The only way to avoid falling into chaos is to ignore the stuff you don't like. Politics here just makes us unhappy.

It's coming! Now just 4 hours away. Amarillo is reporting 14˚F while it still has not passed through Lubbock 53˚F. After Lubbock then Dallas then us. The chili powder is made the house plants are wrapped and the golf course green is covered.

It's a black tarp they put on this afternoon to keep the turf from dying.


From the golf crew:

Flooding in Maine.

Today around 11:30am was the highest high tide of the month. In the last storm which I guess was Wednesday the causeway onto Deer Isle was closed for 2 hours because it was underwater. I hope there wasn't too much damage.
