Coffee is done brewing. 30° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33° with good chance of snow. Dr appointment went well. No new meds or diets. Keep exercising. Stoked neighbors burn pile and added some more large branches to it. Weather forecast calls for up to 5" of snow today. May have to clean that off drive and walkways later today. Otherwise will be doing inside house cleaning.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).
26.2F going to mid-40s, sunny day changing to light precip this evening.

Finally done with training cycle at work, real jobs have started coming in, don’t have to see the same makework over and over and over and….

i guess that means I have to lock myself in the spare bedroom and sort out my piles of paperwork into something comprehensible…

Harry Houdini Hound howling horrendously at 3AM, never fell back asleep. Yay. I foresee several extra cups of caffeine at the office…

it would be nice to get up to the woodlot to harvest sap, but I don’t think that is happening today, unless precip holds off a couple extra hours.

Frits hope you don't get caught in the "crossfire".

The pond is classified as an "in stream pond" meaning it has a stream originating up around the AT flowing through the pond and subject to permit issued in 1988. The pond I have is a regular farm pond for run off and does not require a permit.
Neighbor reduced the diameter of the overflow pipe and raised the water level to close to overflow condition. The moderate rain fall the last few days caused it predictably to overflow. The erosion of the berm at the overflow point has now caused it to overflow all the time
Requested the neighbor to lower the overflow pipe so it has more freeboard and able to flow full flow nested of the current limited flow. He refused and said he is getting a contractor to put some dirt on the berm at the overflow point.

34 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's. We may be in for a dry spell these next few days and we could use it. Have lots of standing water and squishy ground.

Not much on the agenda today. Hope it stays that way.

Stomach still queasy 27 this morning dermatologist canceled appointment no new one added. Still have one skin cancer to take off on face squamous cell surgery canceled sugar still too high

Maybe snow tonight maybe not, lots of noise about next week snow do not think it will make it this far north. Thanks for all well wishes. I think I’m getting overwhelmed
