Good morning all!! Hope everyone has a terrific day!!
30F here in Beautiful Northern Nevada. A little snow before daybreak, but storm seems a little behind schedule. Should drop 1ft of snow at the house and 3 feet over Donner Summit today.
Don- blown away by the garden! Makes my wifes garden look like a flower pot!
Ron-- great pix of a cardinal. Always enjoy the bird pix.
Running low of bird pix of my own, but here is a Turkey and 8 chicks from last season.

Drew, I have a healthy respect for rain fall damage from a project near Granbury Texas. Fortunately was able to recover some of the impact from Builders Risk insurance. As you know from your background in insurance those claims can be difficult to collect on.

speaking of rain Florida is getting clobbered right now and so is California.

I'm sure the folks in Oregon wouldn't mind giving up a little rain for Nevada.

Deerfield Beach, 72 and cloudy going to 75 with chance of showers between 12 and 3 !
Need to make a run to Publix for a few groceries to get us to when we leave !
Maybe some reading, not much planned!

36 outside right now, just finished with animals. Heading to lower 50's today.
Been doing road trips this weekend, to Dad's house which looks to be bank owned.
Insert sad face here. Looks like he did go through with a reverse mortgage a while back. That's OK, it enabled him to do - whatever.
Will ketchup later.
Did manage to get a truck wash in somewhere along the line, and a run to HD for wall supplies. Insert another sad face here. LOL.
Got to go checkup on neighbors house too. Fancy alarms system keeps complaining about a few items coming and going offline in the wee hours of the AM. Maybe critters! LOL.

Morning all, 29 going up to 48 and the sun is coming up without clouds!
Got the last furring strips, screws and corners to finish the sheetrock project.
Wife selected the paint color for the metal shelves, took about 5 minutes, a new world record.
Son drove from here to friends house and then on to Princeton.
Had his first moron driver incident,
Person in left lane cut across him and the other 2 lanes and got on the exit almost almost on the grass ramp divide.
Son did not panic, but could not believe someone would do that, told him to expect these kind of things and it would help him keep out of trouble.
Wife almost hit a deer Friday for the second time in a week she full on braked and it seems the deer lived to tell the tale.
These are whole families who run out from the woods and into the road. It's getting crowded here, had 9 deer on the little patch out front the other day.
Still trying to figure out why people would protest hunting at this point?
M7040 - Groundhogs have enough strength to push up the fence. They pushed aside steel panels to get under my poolhouse with relative ease.
I seem to remember that I have to clear out and re-base the outdoor mini-garden.
