Hello,

I have this old sovema tiller, I'm not sure exactly how to change the oil. My assumption is that the bottom bolt is a drain plug (even though it says oil level), the big screw on the left is the fill-to hole, and you fill it in the top, but anyone know for sure?

My opinion.
The top hole is the fill plug and vent.
The lower hole is the oil level plug.
If no drain plug on the very bottom you may need to suck the oil out.

What's the bolt on the left side for then? Chain tension maybe?

That bottom right bolt is the bolt level, exactly as it says. The chain drive won't take much oil. And yes, you fill at the top.

If there isn't a drain plug, it just needs to take the cover off to drain it and check things while at it.
