now full of citrus barium
I wonder if you put a geiger counter near me if it would start clicking...
ate a small chocolate brownie first, then started to drink the thick stuff.
The chocolate hid the flavor for awhile but it's not terrible. There is much worse stuff to drink.
certainly full. Next bottle at 1pm in parking lot of hospital. Drink that stuff, read my Kindle and go in.
CT's are much less invasive than MRIs and sure quieter.

on the way am dropping off lettuce to my brother's home and when i get back will cut more and take it across the
street to my elderly neighbor.

That's funny Popgadget. And quite the tribute from Frits' daughter.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 5:30AM. Foggy this morning, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 64F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

I'm suspect of your 1000 gallons used in 45 minutes, in your sprinkler system. It might be right but you might have a leak somewhere. My family of 5 uses about 6000 gallons/month for average usage. Around $55.
I am as well, especially in the front yard. The sprinkler heads are buried under the grass, so there's no telling where the water is or isn't going. I need to do some test runs where only one sprinkler valve is open, for a fixed amount of time, in one given hour, so the Flow water monitor can report an accurate value for water use. I eventually want to zeroscape both front and back yards, but I also need to maintain an acceptable appearance until then, though.

How did you find your realtor, Don? I haven't had very much luck locating a good one lately.

Those are some good lookin' ducks, Ron. Good luck with the garden this year.

At the end of the last trip north I spotted another crack in the windshield. About 6" long over on the right side, so I don't plan to get it replaced for as long as possible. But now I'm considering the installation of a windshield protective film. Anybody had good luck with one?

Couple of nibbles on stuff for sale over the weekend, and one person said they'd be over today to look at the cement mixer. Other than that, got about half the stuff unloaded out of the trailer yesterday, but not put away. So that's what I'll be doing most of today.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a healthy start.

Morning all, 50 going to 73 and cloudy.
Mothers day went well, if a little quiet. Off with son to get flowers.
Then later with wife to get plants which I will need to put in, hopefully today.

I also bought a few tomato and pepper plants as mine are not doing well. I am a bit out of sync right now.

Wall looks great Riptides, nice contrast too with the floor.

M7040 - nice touching note from you daughter.

Be well,

Good morning !

70F and sunny here @ 10:00, heading up to around 80F for the day's high.

Yesterday The Woman started off working on Her flowers back in the bed, weeding, deadheading, and tying up the irises

I started by setting up another section of shelving for plants and then transferring the larger tomato plants over to that shelf so they weren't so crowded.

After that I went through most of the tomato plants and topped off the potting soil in their pots which had settled.

Then watered all the plants with a couple of gallons of that Schultz's Tomato Food @ 1/2 strength.

After that we started the clean out on the strawberry bed, She worked mostly on getting the netting pulled back and pulled the larger weeds and I worked on getting the remaining straw removed from around the plants (still more to do on that), also started setting hoops in place:

IMG_3250 copy.jpg

Got all the hoops installed over the strawberries except for one which I have to take up to the shop and weld.

After that took the netting back into the grass over the leach field and drug it around to knock off all the grass/straw/crap on it and then drug it back up and got it placed over the hoops:

IMG_3253 copy.jpg

Then I got 2 of the remesh panels put up while The Woman worked on weeding Her flower bed.

Irises really starting to put out the blooms, had one peony open up yesterday as well:

Agenda for today:

Getting the front mowed before more rain comes in tomorrow morning. Will set the deck up to at least 3.5".

Woman planning on weeding initially, then wants to sand boards ...

Maybe more work on the strawberries later this afternoon/evening once it cools off some.

Hope Bill is ok and everyone is having a decent Monday ... (y)

68°F and 1.78 inches rain but 0 since midnight. Sun shining, hinting at beautiful day.

I’ll be piddling about. Doing what I didn’t do yesterday.

I was able to get my VA disability application finished and accepted. Long story, but we’ll see how it plays out this time.

Happy Hour at neighbor’s this afternoon. Theme is Breakfast for Dinner. I’m making a turkey sausage, potato, and egg casserole.

Prayers for all, especially those in need
Be safe
Have a great day

came in through our email here, the avatar up top with a 1 to show you a message has come.
I went for years and never knew to look up there...

sorry I had the name wrong....sigh.

birds outside squawking and squawking, maybe not peahen volume but something has them riled up.

he sure sounds like a nice guy.
Are you Fern?
post here if you are
if I respond using our TBN email I think I'm safe. Always have been...
and his request is legitimate.

95 percent of the calls I get at home or on my cell are spam. At least that high.
so maybe I overreacted here.
Maybe Fern needs some help and I can help him.
Sure not going to buy a tractor from him...
nor will he get any personal info
not like I've been particularly private here...

and i would never click on a link from anyone I didn't know.
so I went to [Spam removed] and it looks impressive. But didn't click around on it.
It's an electronic catalog/buying guide for tractors. I think.
you worry about these things being electronic tar babies. The more you engage, the less you can get away...

Poor Fern.
He's probably some nice guy from Brisbane who now thinks Americans are nuts

Hi,
I was really impressed with the insights and knowledge u possess about tractors, clearly visible through your posts and helpful comments!
Your expertise on the matter can really help a small startup like mine - I recently built [Spam removed] - aimed at helping tractor buyers make informed decisions.

Would be of great great help if u can check it out for 5 mins and let me know your overall feedback :) Like would it help a new buyer seeking information on tractors?

Cheers,
Fern

remember the Chinese guy with the nice family who was asking our help with understanding the american market for implements?
I was amazed how long he was up, before he disappeared, hopefully not literally.

The domain registration is so new, it does not have a named registered owner, only the godaddy host. No name/contact info for the owner on whois.
maybe I should reply only with question: are you legitimate and can you identify yourself or are you just a Godaddy phantom?

Now I think Fern with a Ford 3000 is likely to be in England, Europe or Australia?
though Tractordata says if it has a C in the serial number it was built in Michigan. England, Belgium and the US
so perhaps Fern is closer

did anyone else get a private email from FS507 asking for feedback about a tractor buying site?
trying to figure out if spam

long afternoon, glad to be home
I reported as Spam. that's the 2nd PM like that this week. I don't think the Bossman will be to keen on others advertising competitive sites here, especially if they don't pay to play.....

Another long day on the road, with 2.5 hrs of mowing, then another hour mowing when I got home.
Foggy when I left, and cool. Nice, just a little hazy overcast when I got there. Scared out 1 deer. Grass was tall, so had to go slower and took half hour longer, 2.3 hrs on the mower meter. I also cut a couple bushes with the battery saw.

Coffee is done brewing. 57° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with cloudy skies. Yesterday got out early and put new ridge cap on pole barn. Even though it was early it got hot up there quickly. Then hauled another load of chips/mulch for neighbor. New glasses are in. Will pick them up today. Have some shopping to do at Menards while I am out. No other plans.

good morning all
up early, should be a nice cloudy day until rain tonight. Lots of clouds and rain in ten day.

Ron, you crawl around on the roof of your barn? by yourself?
worry about you up there

BIL chatted with me from hospital yesterday, had his Zimmer knee replaced under a factory recall of sorts. Defective knee.
He wanted to talk about an attorney to get his lost wages back, not my area of expertise though he has a clear product liability case no matter how
many waivers he signed.

a little unmotivated today. Will see what the day brings
