A few other members have started picture threads of their work and I found them to be interesting. @Hay Dude @Lineman North Florida
Well....here are pictures from my work. I currently have 2 Kubota L6060's, one Kubota L5470, one Kubota M4700 and one JD 3720. I also have a Kubota SVL 65 skid steer.
We build and maintain athletic fields. Mostly for high schools and a few for colleges. We have done work at the very northern part of the state, down to the gulf coast. I have also done one job in Texas and one in Mississippi.

This first picture is where we laser graded the infield.
The second picture is where we did a complete renovation and upgraded the irrigation system and added a sand cap.
The third picture is where we rebuilt the mound and home plate with clay bricks
The fourth picture is where we did some work on the skinned area of the infield. This field is south of New Orleans. You can see the Mississippi River in the background.

I like it, I think it's good for us to see the different things that we all do to either pass the time and keep from rusting up in retirement or our daily job putting food on the table and raising family's, I look forward to more of your post's in this thread. Charlie.

I have done some work on a Lacrosse field, but there are very few schools around here that have lacrosse teams.

Its a fast growing sport. Lots of club teams doing very well in Florida, SC and TX.
I bet you could increase your profits by working with schools trying to develop lacrosse programs.
Its a HUGE field.

Erath. isn't that down towards the gulf? I worked down in there and a place called Kaplan in 2005 for about a month, mostly poor rural area, seems like yesterday but it's been 19 years ago. Looks like you have a few pieces of specialized equipment to help get the job done.

Not my truck. That’s not an investment I’m ready to make. Many times I could use a truck, but I doubt I could find a driver.

It's the only way to do a good grade. This transmitter is actually a 'cone' laser. I use it on baseball and softball fields. When doing a football field, I'll use my dual slope laser.

The only other way to do it would be with a GPS guided system. But, those are about $80,000 last time I checked. Thats what you see on dozers building roads and such.
