Around here, regular gas is about $3.00 and diesel is about $3.40

About 3.50 and 4.00 ish for off road here.

6.50 is nuts.

6.50 is from the local minimart close to the house. Other option to save $1/gal is to drive to town 30 miles each way.

I've been thinking about bringing extra fuel if I ever go to CA again. Then sell it there and have it pay for the trip.

You can always add a larger tank to the system.

I have a 60(?) gallon compressor that can be tied to an 80 gallon tank in the opposite end of the garage, mostly to get good pressure when working in that area.

Yes, you can still run out even with a larger tank capacity, but it'll take longer.

I have a 2 stage 80 gal in garage permanent and a HF one also...amazing how good it works and can sit weeks and holds pressure.
