Ordered four 235/80R16 all steel construction trailer tires, since many of the nine that came with the trailer were rejected by the balancer.

Got six more tires and wheels from the manufacturer, which unfortunately are even worse. Oh well, looks like there are a couple of good (round) wheels which will come in handy.

New New Holland/Ford brake rod seals for the Ford 550.

I had one TISCO left, the first one was destroyed trying to fit it and I also had a Ford part. Ford part still functioning fine, so last week I only had the TISCO seal left and the right side seal started to leak.

Installed the TISCO and it lasted for 2 hours of tractor work then proceeded to drain about 3 gallons of fresh hydraulic fluid out. GRRR.


Ordered 2 more factory parts from Messicks and installed one seal keeping the other for spare.

No leaks and it was easier to install since it was sized perfectly.

The TISCO seal rubber was so poor you could just lightly pull and rip it.
Total garbage.
No more TISCO seals of any kind for me going forward.

Wasted far more value in time and wasted fresh hydraulic oil than what the price difference was for a Quality factory part.

Bought a Jenkins 64" rock bucket with grapple. Bought it from a local guy.
Handed him my cash, he loaded up my grapple.

What's interesting Dan is your wife apparently likes AMC, you Pontiac. My wife & I are the opposite. She just rejoined Pontiac Oakland & I joined AMO. Years ago she drag raced a '69 Trans Am...They're valuable now.
Now she has her '68 Formula, '73 RA Formula and '72 GTO.

Did you try spinning the tires 180 on the wheels? That usually solved "my tire won't balance" issues.

Just ordered a 15' conveyor for my rock crusher.
And getting the ridge shingles replaced.
And got a guy with an excavator to clear the rocks from out front.

No, the Hunter road force balancer I use will tell me exactly where to place the tire relative to the wheel - if match balancing will help.

That feature has helped quite a bit with these particular tires and made-in-India wheels. Then again, I won't settle for less than perfect balance even on trailers, so there's been a lot of searching for the roundest (least road force) wheels and tires, then pair them up as needed.

With 19 wheels and 19 tires to pick from (okay, four wheels will be used, but those are true) there's been a fair amount of dismounting, mounting, and balancing.

I got this today I ordered from Advance Auto (NAPA would be better...but I'm cheap. $107). I got gas recently in my '93 F150 & it wouldn't start. I had to "muscle turn" it past a column and pop started it in 2nd at a walking speed. I really believe this is the original starter (207K miles). I replaced power steering cap also. Parts are cheap, I'm thinking they're glad to get rid of them .
It starts great now, 4.9L (300 six).

I bought this off of a dealer on Tractorhouse.com from Texas. Awaiting shipment. Check out the hours. It is a 2012, pre-emission. 41hp. 4cycl. Mitsubishi. Shuttle Shift. My new to me bushhogging tractor. It is essentially the same as the LS R4041 with Red Paint.
