I even looked in the camper compartments, tractor cab, under the ranger seat, In the Honda, truck. Maybe it was in Subaru?
Last time I used them was last year to lay out cabin dimensions in the yard to get a feel for size.

55 outside right now, heading to mid 70's, Rain expected later.

Thought I could start and finish mowing the "yards" yesterday but the fast moving rain storm brought an end to that. Might have a small window of opportunity to finish it today, if it dries out.

Off to do the morning chores, no wife home makes it triple the work load.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Good morning, the low is 38 and going to a high of 61°F. Sunny!

I am supposed to wear a heart monitor for 14 days, but I don't see any heart monitor here and I am certainly NOT going to pony up any cash for one.
These nurses in hospitals think they are Gods' right hand man, but I am here to tell you that I am the King in this castle and NOBODY tells me what I will and will not do in my own house.
Nurse in the hospital woke me up and of course when I wake up the first thing I need to do is pee. So I grabbed the walker and went into the bathroom, turned around to shut the door and she was in there with me (the bathrooms in private rooms are small enough without two people in there). I told her to get out, she said she had to see that I got sat on the throne BEFORE she left. Oh NO, you are leaving NOW! She says shes' been a nurse for 25 years and she has seen it all. I returns with I have been a truck driver for 50 years and my 50 trumps her 25 and she would get out NOW. She left but it might have had something to do with my left hand on her shoulder urging her out the door. If I want some pervert watching me while I bare my lower half to sit on the can, I will pick the pervert and it wont be some shriveled up old broad that had to be 50 if she was a day. A funny moment after the fact, not funny then. Not to me anyway. ;)

Another day of doing what I did yesterday...nothing.

This sitting around doing nothing is getting old real quick.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning
59° with a high in low 70’s. Sunny, chance of thunderstorms in the evening. A good day to work outside.

Yesterday they got most of the backfilling done, they did it in lifts, compacting as they went. Got some stone in.

Today I’m doing some plumbing, putting in the drain lines that will be beneath the concrete, as well as tapping the water line that was exposed in the excavation. That’s in the bottom left of the picture where it isn’t backfilled yet.

Yesterday’s trip to the cabinet shop was successful, we picked out cabinets and finishes. Have to make the final decisions on appliances.

Here’s the view from when I first plugged the camera in

I guess it’s a selfie…..

I’ve got to get to work.

Good Morning,
Ct, 55 to start going to lower 70’s. Clouds coming in later along with chance of thunderstorms!

Been several slow days for me this past month, between my wife having to go in for a valve replacement;
Lou, prayers for your wife and quick recovery! Nice job on cleaning up DW !

David, we are waiting for your tractor test run ! 😉

Work today, should be a short day, and hoping to mow this afternoon before rain comes in !

Hope all have a good day ! 🙏

Found my steel tape, 50 ft, not 100 like I thought. Was buried in bottom of the tool bag, now why didn't i look there? But no luck on another round of searching for the 300 ft open reel tape. It's way too big to hide in a bag. Even looked in the shed this time. Did find 2 bags mulch in there, that the wife was wanting. Dug deeper into the barn, boy do I have to clean it out.
Nice and cool out at 64deg.
Also found a small air compressor my son in TN was looking for, it was buried in my mud room.

Morning all, 61 going to 77 and sunny.
Got some fallen flowers/leaves blown off the driveway.
Got the gear replaced in the garage door opener, now have to do the reset.
Old gear was mush.

Lou - glad the Mrs. is home and recovering. Glad you got the tree sliced/diced, just be careful not to push yourself too much.

I dropped a ratchet extension yesterday and a screw. Found the screw in a second, the extension, which is brightly chromed, still missing.

David - hope the tractor runs well.

L4N - giving the nurses a hard time eh

Buppies - prayers for you.

My friends pitbull moved on yesterday. It was a rescue, great with people, but wanted to kill every dog it met. My friend gave him a good home, but not being able to put the dog in a kennel or with friends who had dogs too, meant a lot of difficulties in him taking time away from home.

Be well,
