Remington rm 5520 starter parts.

Cant find a starter assy. for one. Anybody know of one or got a junk one?
Buddy wants his saw fixed and I cant find the parts to fix his starter. internals exploaded in it and he lost the parts.

Those grey area type saws. You better off trying to find the whole recoil set up.

Not totally a gray area saw. Remington is owned by MTD/Black and Decker. The entire assembly is NLA from MTD. So going to have to look other places like ebay, amazon, or mower junk yards. I checked my boneyard but didn't have any.

I know MTD and Taiwan etc involved. I still call them that because hard to get parts for. Cant just go online and order the recoil parts. Have to order a whole dang thing and only then if can find it.

Lot of Craftsman's fall in this category too.

One I was fixing for guy. Newer and still sold.

IMO if cant fix for 20 under not worth it for these cheap built saws.
