I have a new Kubota MX6000 with rear loaded R14 tires. When driving on a hard surface like a driveway or road the tractor vibrates quite badly. I did have the rear tires set in their widest position if that makes a difference I don't know. When using tractor on the field no problem. Is this normal for R14 tires? I have a M5700 Kubota with R4 tires and no problem at all.

I have a MX6000 with R4 tires. I have only had it on a paved road a few times and didn’t notice a vibration beyond what’s expected for lugged tires. I don’t have R14, but would assume a similar ride to R4. But truthfully I seldom run on pavement.

I have a MX5200 with loaded wheels and R4 tires spaced 3" out. I do notice some vibration on the road but I don't road it very much or very far. So I accept it. There is no noticeable vibration working at lower speeds.

I find a vibration at certain speeds with R1 tires on all the tractors I've driven. Changing ai pressure will change at what speed the vibrations occur. It is usually at lower speeds on hard surfaces. Felt at times, seen in the mirrors or open doors often.

It is the lug tread on the R14 tires which is the primary cause of the vibration you feel.

Mine don’t vibrate on my very short dirt road trips around the corner.

Jeff it is almost like a shaking in the rear. Both rear tires seem to be running true as it almost feels like loose wheel nuts but it is not.The left outside mirror doesn't vibrate it is more of a shaking. I am considering having the dealer take out the juice in the rear tires if that would help.

Sure have never heard of liquid tire ballast doing what you describe.

I have 775# of RimGuard in each of my rear R1 tires. At a certain speed - going down my gravel driveway - there will be a minor vibration in my canopy. On the asphalt county road - smooooth.

Are you sure it’s coming out of four wheel drive properly ? Mine will vibrate like you described on pavement but only if it’s locked in four wheel drive, no noticeable vibration in two wheel drive.

It definitely is not in 4wd., I did lower the air pressure on rears some and that did help so it isn't to bad now.

I don't know what tire pressure you are running, you did say you lowered it some,
that weight tractor with 17.5-24's doesn't need much pressure at all.
At 12 psi and 15 mph each tire is rated over 3000 pounds or 6000 pounds for the pair.
This is the pressure load chart from Goodyear.

Thanks, as I did lower them to 15-16 lbs.
Thanks for that info. I did lower the pressure on my B2650 to around 13 lbs. on R4 tires back along and the rim guard started to leak out on one tire around the rim, so I had to put more pressure back in.
