Massey Ferguson 135
Hi,
I have a Massey ferguson 135, the wires to the reR have been cut and taped up to not be used. Im trying to get the rear lights working again and have discovered the wire that that shows is live when the light switch is switched on and another wire that is constantly live. With the wire that is continuously live i cannot find where it comes from. Does this sound correct? and if anyone has any advice about this wire that is continuously live would be much appreciated,
Thanks

Need more info and a photo or two would help us help you. How many, and what type lights do you have installed? One tail light and one work light, two tail lights, ????

Could the constantly ‘live’ wire be intended for the transmission neutral sensor? Apologies for the poor quality but copied from the owners manual of my 1975 diesel.

My Kubota has one continuously live wire to the back. It turns off with the ignition switch. It's for the work light.

Thank you for your reply, the question is more where the constantly livewire comes from. I tried to follow it back to in behind the dashboard. But I can seem to find where originates from.

Hi and thank you for your reply, that is exactly what it is like but as the ignition switch only starts the vehicle and you cannot turn it off except for a pull stop, it is continually live. This may be meant to be but it would be nice to know if there is an in-line fuse for it.

Thank you for your reply, I don’t think it has anything to do with the transmission, but I am no expert. It appears to be just one of the wise that heads down the back of the tractor.
