1 tractor rest of forever -- what brand?

Just about every weekend, I'm on three different tractors. I could probably get by with just one, but it would sure take a lot longer to do everything.

Aren't you talking about the "Global" attachment? More than deere uses it, and it's much stronger than the skid steer attachment.

I much prefer it, just because it's more positive and stronger, it's on most of the more powerful tractors.

It may well be stronger, but I don't think any compact runs the risk of damaging a SSQA hookup. At least not without breaking something else first.

And there's no denying that there are more SSQA attachments available new and used the what you have on John Deere tractors.

The entire construction and demolition industry uses this connection as well. That much I know for sure.

I've had three tractors with SSQA and didn't find hooking up to be as simple as planned.
Always wondered when you rolled the bucket back to set it was it going to slip out of channel or fall off that lip.

My neighbor had a Deere and it seemed easier to hook up, but he had less choice of implements, often having to
go green/Frontier.

my understanding is the major benefits of that proprietary hookup are simplicity, less weight and a little less length.
Have never used one so ?

Can it get any easier than this? No second guessing, safe, easy to use, won't come out if you look at it the wrong way, you won't bend the frame because one side popped out.

The best forever tractor is one that is right sized, weight, and hp to handle current and expected future needs. And a brand that has good local dealer support and expectations of future parts availability. Somewhat of needing a crystal ball to see into the future.

That's very sound advice. That is also why I chose Kubota. The shear volume of tractors that JD and Kubota sells, tells me that future parts support will almost certainly be there down the road. I think many don't consider this factor strong enough...

I had a Deere and yes, the loader bucket hook up was a bit easier and faster. But there are far less attachments for that mount as you mention.
