Good morning! 70˚F heading to the mid 90s, cloudless skies. No rain in sight for the next 10 days.

Ring is still questionable still missing alert notification on motion.

We managed to put in a two mile walk yesterday at sunset, 94˚. The truck said it got to 101 on the road, it felt like 101. Everything got irrigated yesterday so the grass now needs mowing.

The last auto blind was installed yesterday (because they mis measured) and programed to app. We tend to just use the wall remote to lower and raise them all at the same time once a evening/morning.

I still have at least 4 big projects to do that will take more than a day each but I got to pace myself and enjoy our staycation. Next week the garage cabinet people will be installing and I still have stuff to take up in the attic to clear out the back walls for the cabinets. It sure will be nice to get the garage organized again.

Gotta watch out for those ladies in the grocery store. 😂
BTW, glass breaks. Oops, dropped that screen door window, good thing it was double bagged already.
My backhoe accidentally got a TV screen once.

Haircut later. Wife has something so I have to take the truck. Miss having the Subaru.
Turned up the upstairs temp to give the AH a short break. It did catch up by morning.

Good Morning!!!! 54F @ 6:00AM. Foggy this morning, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 78F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Yes, it will be nice to get the garage organized again, Don. I started moving stuff around so I can get the milling machine to its final resting place yesterday, and got the lathe leveled. I'll take another swing at it today.

Got through a bunch of paperwork, and that was the day. Where does the time go?

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Aluminum is easy, dealing with the glass
will be a question. Not sure it fits and it sure doesn't cut in half easily....
Drew, I normally put things like that in a contractors bag, break the glass, then remove the frames after cleaning off any remaining shards of glass. WEAR GLOVES.

Sure enough there was a leak on the mini split system. The technician was not equipped to find the leak but did charge it up. So now there will be another appointment to find the leak and then we will see how the warranty works.

Leaving for wife's Rheumatologist appointment for another infusion

76F and partly cloudy @ 12:00, heading up to around 80F for the day's high. 1% chance of any further rain. Winds out of the NNW at 10 to 15 mph ... so it should a fairly pleasant day.

Got electric bill scheduled for payment, didn't get around to writing out the checks for the property taxes ... may do that today.

Mist/rain/drizzle never really slacked off yesterday ... so did not get the bucket moved up to the shop ... :( ... another item on the list for today.

LWS reports that we got another 0.78" of rain overnight to add to yesterday's total of 0.89" ... (y)

The Chapin 1 gallon sprayer we are currently using for insecticides has a straight tip on the wand. Would be good to have an angled tip to be able to get the underside of plants. Started looking last night to see what might be available from Menards, HD, Amazon then remembered that the lady down at the hardware store had given me a returned sprayer that seemed to be in "new and unused" condition. IIRC, that one had an angled tip on it.

So I'll need to dig it up, check it out, and see if it can be retrofitted to the Chapin sprayer.

Have the two other 1 gallon sprayers loaded with glyphosate so will probably spray some areas with those that need doing and then see if I have more mixed up to reload the sprayers.

Beyond that, the grass down here around the house is likely due to be mowed again ... assuming it's dry enough.

And no shortage of additional work that could be done in the garden.

Plus whatever else might come up.

Hope everyone is having a decent Thursday ... (y)

68°F and .32 inches rain almost all since midnight and still raining.

Couldn’t mow in morning too wet, but did get haircuts. Got about half my Hilo mowing done and had hope to finish today but too wet and likely not dry out until late afternoon at best.

Friends coming over mid afternoon to throw some Kalbi pork on the Primo.

Planning our Ireland adventure for March as our Canadian friends will be in residence at the Cottage and will look after the house and furry kids. This tour will be something of a splurge vs like Dennis just rent a car and go. Someone told Sophie recently that if we don’t treat ourselves while we can then those that inherit will but without the appreciation. Thought provoking.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
