Good morning!!!!

Good morning, the low is 61 and only going to a high of 72°F. Wind NNW 2 mph. 40% chance of showers. Scotch mist now.

I guess I am not doing anything today.

That stroke quack didn't tell me anything other than the hiatus from driving for 6 months that I didn't already know. A waste of my time and money going to him.

Tomorrow and Friday supposed to be sunny and in the 70s, so I will most likely get after the grass then. Might turn the wood pile too. The wood gets dumped from a dump truck and the driver doesn't try to keep the piles tight. I know why. He doesn't want to tear his mudflaps off. He also knows I have the equipment to tighten up the piles.

I guess today is an energy conservation day.

Have a safe day all

76 going to 97. Hit 101.1 yesterday.

Happy Birthday, Mostly!

Sodamo, I like that eufy camera...I'll read more to see how to access its photo/videos, and maybe order one.

LS, you must not buy tires at Costco if your biggest ticket is $500+. I've been very happy with their tire service, prices, and warranty fidelity...free regular rotations and balancing.

Buppies, glad you had a nice trip to the beach and now safely home.

Took Della back to a mountain stream for a swim to cool off yesterday.

made a big expensive decision
going to order a new Tahoe with small diesel and Supercruise.
They now offer Supercruise in an LT, not just highest end model.
hoping that will make it a little more affordable, though it will cost more
than my first house. But still, no cloth seats with Supercruise.
I really like cloth seats, aviator's fleece seats are the supreme best, but
that new Volvo wool like material really looks nice. Not if you have a dog I'm sure.
Japanese have used wool seating in their top Crown models for a long time.

the real question is what happens when that big blob of mustard mixed with ketchup drips down
from your burger and lands on that cloth. I often forget to use a lap towel, and I have them right in the
car door pocket.

I looked over the Traverse, less expensive way to get Supercruise but I want to be able to easily tow a 7k trailer.
That takes a truck frame. And that diesel gets way better mileage than my car. Since I have to buy premium anyway,
the price difference is not that large any more.

I've owned three suburbans. I've ridden in Buppies' new one with super nice interior.
Just rode in a new Tahoe in NC, my friend's fire company staff car. It was quieter than my car.
I think that's when I knew I was going to get one. Would prefer to have rv sold first, so jumping the gun a little.
But good friend told me not to wait.
a very good friend.

and maybe for once I won't wack my head on the door frame getting in. I really miss that from my Ram trucks.
Big doors are wonderful, I don't mind stepping up.

Dealer told me 2025 software not in so they can't price yet.
I'm waiting for that new soft green color. Or maybe silver. No dark colors.
don't want to look like SWAT vehicle...
tan or light interior
and I want zero percent financing for ten years please

back into debt I go, I usually try to put down half.

so second expensive decision in one week. When I get back end of October from trip, I hope to pick up my new suv and
my new garden shed. That will make this a very expensive year but hopefully one to remember and enjoy.
Only so much sand in the glass.

BIL had another PET scan.... he lit up like a Christmas tree.
Very sorry to learn this LS. Been down that road, not as severe, but it's a tough journey. Prayers for his quality treatment and recovery.

Wngs, Della is getting huge! Nice water pix! Same for Rigby-- we have had him a little over a month and he has gone from 12lbs to 26lbs.

Buppies-- glad your trip ended safely!

Yesterday I completed a project to modify my RV refrigerator. This POS Norcold unit never worked right-- if at all. Paid diagnostic fees twice only to hear "it works fine." Then go camping-- it won't cool below 60F-- so we use ice chests instead.

Kept the Norcold "box," but removed all the "guts" on the back that was the original ammonia/absorption unit. Replaced it with a pre-fab kit with 12V compressor and condensor. Woohoo! Refer now at 38F and freezer is -7F. Finally a useable refer/freezer-- at least as long as I keep the 12V batteries charged.

Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning all,
69° now highs in the low 90’s and sunny with clouds this evening and possible storms later this afternoon/evening. Dew point 67° staying around 70° today. Winds SW 5-10 mph. We were spared the strong storms from yesterday evening and overnight, most of the damage was west and north of us. A few sticks to pickup this morning and we did get 0.32” rain. 👍

No real plans for today, need to get back to trimming and mowing if it is dry enough and can stay in the shade. Dump run this afternoon and keep cool is about it.

Prayers for those dealing with storm damage

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe and healthy

Drew, converter in my Motorhome was under stove. What is black box under transfer switch?
main panel, opens other side
yes, they say it may be in one of three locations...one of which was under stove. Not on mine...we had different chassis.
since most both convert to DC and charge your batteries, makes sense it would be close to battery box.
no...

I just finished filling up the under counter area where converter is hidden with spare water filters.
Not sure I'm curious enough to pull it all out.

I gave all my best tomatoes to Popgadget yesterday, then remembered I was having breakfast with
a friend this morning I always take veggies to.
oh dear.
but not to worry
I found enough overnighters and hiders to make
a nice take a long bag.
I get the runts and dented ones for myself.
I don't need a huge tomato to make a sandwich happy.

Good morning! 77˚F even with cloudy skies we will be in the upper 90s today. I hope the garage cabinet installers finish before noon to take advantage of the 80s temp.

Hospice has me trained, after his breakfast he leads me to the veranda to watch the sun rise while I drink my coffee and read TractorNet.

Today is the one year Anniversary of my Mothers death. May she RIP.

Good Morning
72°, 98% humidity, high of 90 with chance of late afternoon thunderstorms. Yesterday’s showers left us a half inch of badly needed rain.

I didn’t get anything done on the old folks home yesterday, nor do I get the pastures mowed.
I did get my son’s generator running, and the pool chlorinator working again as well as a welding project for a neighbor.
Also met with the engineer at the airport to inspect a paving project and discuss increasing the size of the car parking lot.

Today I hope to mow the pastures, and get to work on the boiler room plumbing. I made a drawing of how I wanted to do it, and gave it to a buddy that works for Honeywell, he had their hydronic radiant heat expert review it and gave me the go ahead.
Ductwork is being delivered today, I’ll get that right up into the attic so it’s out of the way.

Drew’s tomatoes were excellent we had grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches for dinner last night.
