Using your model and going to the AGCO website I'd say #5 are the 40A fuses you are looking for but please do the search yourself to be sure.

I'm guessing you can only get them from a dealer??

It looks like a standard automotive PAL fuse. Ebay has a listing but any good local auto parts store should either have them or be able to source it in the slow-blow configuration.

Got them from the dealer...two for 18 bucks. They stayed open past 5pm just for me. I also blew a 10amp and a 15 amp so have to replace those spares I took. Up and running again. Had to replace the origional battery in the middle of a field in the sun. Battery was 14 years old and finally gave up. Thanks everyone

I got in a hurry while trying to sell my tractor a few years ago and it wouldn't start due to dead battery. Swapped it out while the potential buyer was standing there and wasn't paying close enough attention and got battery terminals switched and blew that main fuse.

It happens.

Ha - just read your post about hooking up the battery wrong, and I did the same thing on my wife's New Holland TZ25da - as the battery lost power and needed to be changed.....well, it turns out that after changing the battery that the alternator was not charging, so after having problems finding the exact replacement alternator - I replaced the internal regulator on the alternator and all good now... So, the first problem was the 40A slow blow fuse and after locating it hidden in some wiring harness under the engine I found the special fuse at Advanced Auto Parts - cost around $8, and it worked to get the tractor running. I picked up a spare on eBay for a few bucks too....
